Charlie Rose’s CBS News career came to an unceremonious end Tuesday when the network fired him over allegations of sexual harassment.
"A short time ago we terminated Charlie Rose's employment with CBS News, effective immediately," CBS News President David Rhodes wrote in a note to staff. "This followed the revelation yesterday of extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior said to have revolved around his PBS program. Despite Charlie's important journalistic contribution to our news division, there is absolutely nothing more important, in this or any organization, than ensuring a safe, professional workplace — a supportive environment where people feel they can do their best work. We need to be such a place."

The behaviors cited are reprehensible and inexcusable.
Many liberals seem to be getting caught up in this new found zeal to go after sexual misbehavior. Interesting development. Because I thought that up till now, sexual misbehavior was being used as a political club to use against Republicans, whereas liberals/Democrats got a pass on the same behaviors.
They are pushing some of theirs on the front line to take the bullets so they can capture the big prize - TRUMP.
I am glad I will probably never see that condescending, metrosexual, leftist media hack again.

CBS was slower to respond to allegations that Dan Rather aired forged memos for 3 consequtive nights without challenge in effort to try to steal the 2004 presidential election.
They stood by David Letterman when he was accused of workplace sexual harassment. He became the victim in that tale because he was being blackmailed (allegedly).
This has been fun to watch. Yet this will turn into a thing worse than race issues. The powers that be are going to restrict more freedoms by using sexual abuse to shut men up from here on out.
False accusations will be the new norm soon. Not saying Rose and Franken are false accusations, but is is a slippery slope that is coming around the bend.

We need to be very careful ending or trying to end someone’s career based on actions in their personal life.
No trial, no negotiation, no ‘rehab’, just shock, awe and decapitation before Noon of the following day.

If this is a political strategy by the Left, its a bad one. They are calling in airstrikes on their own positions. So far Hollywood, the media and many Democrat pols are being implicated. I'm wondering if it is rather a Trump political operation, which was kicked off, not coincidentally, by Mike Pence announcing he won't meet with women alone, immediately before the start of this fire-storm of abuse allegations.
