The top U.S. nuclear commander said Saturday he would push back against President Trump if he ordered a nuclear launch the general believed to be "illegal," saying he would hope to find another solution.

Well, bye.
Door...rear end.
That is the sort of opinion one should keep to one’s self.8
Let me guess... Obola appointee?
Sedition?
IOW, what the hell are you talking about?
These idiots must think Trump authorizing a nuclear strike is merely pushing the big red button on his desk...
Further evidence of the damage made to the military during the eight year reign of O-hole...
Is it just me or is CBS trying to make it appear this is a slight at Trump when in reality this general was talking in generic terms? In other words if any President asked him to do something illegal they have protocols of how hey would respond. CBS is trying to make this out to be about Trump. This is outrageous!
The general’s insubordinate comment should be sufficient for a dishonorable discharge.
There is no such thing as an illegal command given by the Command in Chief, General. Sans knowing that simple little fact invalidates your capability to serve any longer in your position.
To be successful in getting rid of the NK regime the US needs to do several things.
Get South Korea, Japan, Russia, and China on board. I believe this has been done with modest success and to varying degrees. Trump needs to start preparing the US electorate by stating what has been done and how effective he feels it is in stopping the nuclear threat. The public should not be surprised to wake up one morning to find we are at war. (Or, rather the war is continuing as the North never signed a peace treaty ending the first one.) The public needs to understand that no other options exist.
Another thing that needs to be done is a huge logistics buildup along with hardening and protecting potential targets.
Because the border region has an estimated 13,ooo cannons zeroed in on Southern targets, I see no other option than to take them all out at once with multiple and probably nuclear strikes.
I haven’t witnessed anything on the logistics angle, and that is hard to hide. Also, we aren’t being prepared for what will happen, which, if the plan is to strike, is a major mistake.
He’s stating the obvious, but it obviously should get him fired.
This is nonsense.
Any officer would not follow illegal orders.
The press just doesn’t ask about other presidents.
At the same time, I’d agree this officer should be canned for answering.
Ring a ling...its General Kelly calling......he wants you to come to the Whte House to discuss your opinion
See BS.
If anything should be nuked it’s SeeBS’s headquarters, along with the other lying Marxist lame-steam alphabet networks.
Dereliction of Duty.
