Outgoing establishment RINO Jeff Flake appeared in Mesa, Arizona — the city that in 2014 was rated the “most conservative big city in America,” on Friday to speak at a town hall event.
But the real fireworks came after Flake spoke when he was caught on a hot mic in a conversation with Republican Mesa Mayor John Giles, who was encouraging Flake to run for the presidency in 2020 against “idiot” President Donald Trump “just for fun.”

At this point, calling Flake a RINO is an insult to RINO’s! He’s an out and out Democrat!
There’s no groundswell to re-elect Flake here in Arizona. The legislators don’t get to vote yet. They would do it. They are just like this Mesa mayor.

Mesa is 13% Mormon. It has its own temple. Flake’s power base in AZ has been the Mormons, although he also ran as a Tea Party conservative.
Maybe someone can run against the mayor in the primaries just for fun.
Don’t think this will keep the President up at night. Flake’s another attention addict who will soon be forgotten.
