But I'm making money again, and I'm not bored anymore. I'm getting good at writing things up in an attention getting way.
That whole kitchen reminds me of your kitchen! And yes, the kitty looks so much like Minette. it’s such a cozy picture I could sit and watch it for a long time. :) I need a life! LOL!
The last time we had winds like that, hubby and I were without power for 5 days (I think it was).
I have to have my oxygen on at night, so I had to use my reserve tanks.
Good thing I had them!
Mike had to do the lions share of work, hossin’ wood in,
keeping the home fires burning.
Our small generator was a big help too!

The wind cranked up here last night and got stronger as time wore on. We reached the mid 60s so it wasn’t cold but we opted to keep the cats inside.
The rain started at 6:00, just as I left for a meeting. It had stopped by 8:00 when the meeting ended but the wind had shifted. I had to stop at the store on the way home and my hair was blowing all over the place. My hair’s long and it was standing out and up and waving every direction. Glad no one had a camera. LOL
We’re supposed to get down into the mid to upper 30s overnight but the wind chills are much lower. I feel so sorry for all the soaked critters stuck outside. :-(

There are areas across the state without power tonight because of the winds. Fortunately we escaped that hassle. So far any way. The wind’s still roaring so who knows what will happen?
Always good to have reserve tanks handy. One never knows when the power will get knocked out. Good that y’all have that generator. You can at least keep the fridge running if nothing else. We have a mid-sized one we used when the power was out for three days after a tornado hit a few years ago. Just kept the food cold though it would have run a lot more stuff. But the more you hook up to it, the more gas it uses.
No, Tatiana isn’t in season. All the cats are fixed. She was just fighting with other cats - they’ve all been spatting a little - and the last time was a big one. She started it so she got her butt popped.
They’re all feeling the new moon plus the sound of the wind gets them wound up.

I hope you were able to get Shags to come in during this nasty spell. I think it’s supposed to come a hard freeze here tonight, too. Not totally sure.

I was teasing Tigermaus withe a stoopid rubber chicken that “clucks” when you squeeze it.
OMG I laughed so hard!
He sat on his haunches and slapped it right out of my hands!
Then he grabbed it by the neck and took off with it!

Ok, I HOPE no one had a camera. LOL! It had to be a sight.
Shags came in with everyone else last evening and no one went out today. All are warm and dry. And no one will go out tomorrow since it’ll still be very windy and only in the mid 40s. Tomorrow night we dip into the 20s.
