Up until one week ago, the worst thing one could claim about Judge Roy Moore was that he stood for the Ten Commandments as a judge and ticked off the ACLU. While arguments exist constitutionally around that particular matter, Moore's actions in doing so were certainly not indicative of a man with a weak character who would exploit young ladies. In fact, he stood for something and risked losing a political position.
Another matter that put Moore's political post at risk was his stance on marriage. Again, he didn't go along to get along. He stood for what he believes in. His steel spine is yet another objective fact we're able to consider.
This is why Alabama voters trust Moore, who has proven himself when he promises to stand on important issues: religious liberty, securing our borders (which includes building a wall), the Second Amendment, protecting the unborn, etc.
This is unlike a lot of the so-called holier-than-thou "Republicans" in Washington who had no problem working with Ted Kennedy, who left a woman to die in his car, and other liberals in Congress. They are the same ones who continually take stands to bash the current president after they refused to stand against the Obama regime for eight years. They embody the swamp that Moore threatens.

Not sure about a broom. She’s Jewish and I think a woman has to be Christian to be a Witch; same thing’s true for vampires. Time to read up on our demonology.
Why would that phenomenon not also include the lower loop of "Roy" that is in the same adjacent block as the date and building name?
If it is not two different pens, would changes in reflectivity from the copier cause that result? That reflectivity would be determined by how deeply the writer pressed on the pen (the depth of the groove of the writing). The deeper groove would reflect light differently than the lightly-pressed writing.
Copiers move a camera element slowly across the document. The scattered light from the camera might change the reflection of light as the element moves across the document.
However, we're not talking about a copier; we're talking about a high resolution photograph taken of the yearbook at the press conference. The image was captured in a brief fraction of a second across its entire surface.
Is it possible that the camera lens (with or without a flash) might have captured the changes in reflectivity of the writing, or did it capture changes in hue from different ink? And why did whatever altered the color of the last name forward not also alter the lower loop of the Y in "Roy" that was fractions of an inch next to it?

... which also means she could ... dub ... UNLOCK the car door, open it and get out.
Where's the boyfriend?
Boy....good thing she didn't scream or run back into the Olde Hickory House....
You didn’t hear all the cameras clicking? You think they all got the same result? Someone would have said something if there were not two colors by now cuz they all like to be right.
Decisively up over Jones. Alabama is going to elect Moore in 20 something days.

If CNN doesn't want to be accused of "fake news," then why post a two-color signature that discredits the accuser that nobody else has?
Is the CNN posted photo fake news?
-PJ
I'm perfectly willing to accept that the photo is an anomaly, but not while CNN has its reputation behind it by posting it to their Twitter feed.
Either CNN stands by the photo and then we discuss the ramifications of that, or CNN takes down the photo, admits it was an error, and explains why they left it up for so long knowing how important it is and that it was incorrect.

my guess is a filter on the camera made it show two different inks were used...
Wouldn't that filter act unilaterally on the whole document? The camera shutter speed is so quick that the entire image was captured in a tiny fraction of a second. What was special about just that suspicious piece of writing that it alone behaved differently from the rest by this filter on the camera? Why did the filter not alter the lower loop of the "Y" in "Roy" since it was right next to the date and building name that got turned blue?

different inks react differently to different lights and aged inks are drier than fresh inks...

No?

no two pens ! possibly at different times... handwriting after ROY/Ray slanted differently also..it screams for examination.
I have little doubt that Alabamans will cram him right down the elitist beltway swampmonster’s pie hole.
Sufficient payback for decades of condescending sneers and snickering comparisons to Ernest, Goober Pyle, Junior Samples and Forrest Gump.
Let's see what scenarios might account for that.
1. Young knew Moore; Moore signed it "Roy;" Young added the rest with the same pen after Moore left.
2. Young knew Moore; Moore signed it "Roy;" Young went back to Moore at some future date to fill out the rest, but happened to still have the same pen. A sixteen year old girl didn't lose the original pen during the intervening time. Or the DDA Moore had an executive pen that he used both times. That future date had to be far enough into the future that the inks had enough time to decay. The signature had to mean enough to Young that years after high school she still wanted his signature to her fully documented.
3. Young knew someone named "Roy" who signed the yearbook in 1977. Somebody added "Moore" within the few years he was DDA using the same pen that was used in 1977 for some unknown reason at the time.
4. Young knew someone named "Roy" who signed the yearbook in 1977. Somebody added "Moore" for political reasons in 2017 using the same pen that was used in 1977 and the ink had not dried out the ballpoint in all that time.
Other ideas?

need to have handwritiong expert compare the first part to Moore’s handwriting exemplars..that should incicated if the first part was likely his or not.
the second part then follows depending on the first part..if its not moore’s handwriting in the first part then possibly someone named Ray signed it the note is stilted r an attempt at poetry I don’t know who would write like that.
in letter from his atty he states it is not his vernacular amog other things: see post 275 vernacular etc.

Most Conservatives and Libertarians understand that the WaPo and the NY Times are disreputable publications, but I rarely see any criticism of the Associated Press. The AP consistently misrepresents political and social news to support approved Leftist propaganda, and its news stories are picked up by hundreds (thousands?) of media organizations around the world.
