Let's see what scenarios might account for that.
1. Young knew Moore; Moore signed it "Roy;" Young added the rest with the same pen after Moore left.
2. Young knew Moore; Moore signed it "Roy;" Young went back to Moore at some future date to fill out the rest, but happened to still have the same pen. A sixteen year old girl didn't lose the original pen during the intervening time. Or the DDA Moore had an executive pen that he used both times. That future date had to be far enough into the future that the inks had enough time to decay. The signature had to mean enough to Young that years after high school she still wanted his signature to her fully documented.
3. Young knew someone named "Roy" who signed the yearbook in 1977. Somebody added "Moore" within the few years he was DDA using the same pen that was used in 1977 for some unknown reason at the time.
4. Young knew someone named "Roy" who signed the yearbook in 1977. Somebody added "Moore" for political reasons in 2017 using the same pen that was used in 1977 and the ink had not dried out the ballpoint in all that time.

need to have handwritiong expert compare the first part to Moore’s handwriting exemplars..that should incicated if the first part was likely his or not.
the second part then follows depending on the first part..if its not moore’s handwriting in the first part then possibly someone named Ray signed it the note is stilted r an attempt at poetry I don’t know who would write like that.
in letter from his atty he states it is not his vernacular amog other things: see post 275 vernacular etc.
