@MittRomney Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections. I believe Leigh Corfman. Her account is too serious to ignore. Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.
If we gave the establishment Republicans everything they want, how far would they go? These evil individuals have no conservative bone in their body. They like to play act for to get elected. God will hold them accountable. Mitt vs Harry Reid - at least Harry never pretended to be a conservative Mormon.
Judge Moore will be a breath of fresh air in the US Senate and the chances of that happening is driving the ruling establishment pukes apoplectic, to include those who put themselves up as Christians, Willard.
So, if he withdraws the Democrat wins, if he stays in and gets fewer votes the Democrat wins. If he stays in and wins the election, that is not tantamount to becoming Senator Moore, because the Senate could refuse to seat him. If he stays in and wins and is not seated, the current GOP Governor of AL appoints someone, until a special election, or an election set on the November 2018 election date. So, if he drops out, the 50-50 tie on tax reform and health care reform issues never happens, because AL gets a Democratic Senator (unless Menendez is convicted of counts that allow for his expulsion from the Senate while Christ Christie is still Gov. of NJ and can appoint an interim successor.)
The accusations are disturbing, but the question is how do you evaluate the truth of the accusations? There is no criminal process after all these years, the claims are beyond the criminal law statute of limitation.
The purported victim of these acts has known that Moore was running for the Senate for a long time. He had run for elected positions in the past, and she never came forward. I want to know what the Washington Post knew and when did they know it? If they have been sitting in this story for months, waiting for the 76 day deadline to pass, knowing that running it this close to the election would create exactly this conundrum, then this was an in-kind contribution from The Washington Post to the opponent of Moore.
They both intended to lose.
A new party is a waste of time, taking over the GOP like the communists took over the Ds is the way to go.
Says Mitt as he straps Fido to the roof of the car. :-)
If the people of Alabama? are stupid enough to fall for this then we are really screwed. his
It w/b a huge win for the anti-tump forces.
This also reminds me that we really didn’t have a choice from the end of Reagan until we finally had a choice with Trump.
Bush, Dole, Bush, Mccain, Romney. Really? I voted for them but it was waste of time. I will never vote for someone like that again.
It feels like the same crowd piling on Trump then is piling on Moore now. The exact same D.C. crowd.
McLame used exact same language too. The RINO fax machine is still up and running.
Thats quite an endorsement from Mitt.
nick, you’re NeverTrump is showing again......
Mitt’s dog wasn’t available for comment.
Moore wins by at least 15 points.
Go work on your dog-handlers license Mitt, so you can get a job again.
The Swamp Strikes Back!!!
All our attempts to start new parties over the years have failed.
The gop would be happy for conservatives to leave.
Stand and Fight seems like a good motto to me.
Yep. Probably better to stay, vote in the primary and then sit out general election day if the incumbent “Republican” wins the primary.
Of course the problem is near everybody loves their elected GOPers and think the OTHER RINO Republicans are the problem. Ryan will always get 80% of the vote in his primaries as Speaker.
Really, at this point the GOP is malignant. If an outsider like President Trump can’t change them nobody will. Proceed accordingly.
Bush, Dole, Bush, Mccain, Romney. Really? I voted for them but it was waste of time. I will never vote for someone like that again.
Dole is the only one who has stood with Trump. At all. For that he deserves respect. The rest can all DIAF.
The Republicans only want candidates of proven character sufficient to uphold the ideals of the Republican party. The only conclusive proof that they meet those ideals is that they lose every election to their Democratic opponent, unless it looks like they might actually win, and then their Republican duty is to quit.
This is called being principled.
Wrong.
It cannot be allowed to survive.
It has to pay.
