So this guy allegedly attacks Rand Paul while Rand is cutting his grass. Paul suffers 5 broken ribs. And now the alleged assailant is out on $7500 bond? He allegedly tackled and assaulted a US Senator.

On Sunday, however, Paul‘s chief of staff told The Washington Post that the injuries the senator sustained were much more severe than initially disclosed: five of his ribs are cracked, his lungs are bruised, and the pain is “considerable” enough that Paul could be unable to fly for some time, potentially upending the upcoming tax-reform debate in Congress.
Days later, it remains unclear why the assailant—Paul‘s 59-year-old neighbor, Rene Boucher—attacked the senator in the first place. Jim Bullington, a former city commission member who knows both men, told the Post that the two, who live next to each other in their gated community, often engaged in heated exchanges about politics; Boucher is a vocal anti-Trump socialist, according to Bullington, while the libertarian Paul voted against an Obamacare repeal attempt because it didn’t go far enough in severing federal aid. The F.B.I. is investigating the incident, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Rand should engage the services of an exterminator.
Of course it was political. And as usual, across the spectrum from BLM, to Antifa, to Hillarys murders, to this doctor who is a rabid socialist...democrats are the initiators of violence.
The level of engagement on this depends on Rand Paul...will he use all tools available to him?
If so, there are many, many avenues to pursue against this liberal neighbor wacko.
The only thing we can do is to watch and see what Senator Paul decides to do/pursue.

It sounds “politically motivated” to me. The thug’s lawyer says that it wasn’t. Of course, I don’t believe anything a lawyer says anyway.
Democrats have now after 8 years of Obama’s in your face politics , morphed into Liberal fascists. who feel justified in dehumanizing political opponents and then committing violence.
Even the MSM promotes such violence through the rancid disrespect they manifest in their fake news about Republicans, Christians and conservatives.
THEY LOST THE ELECTION in Nov. 2016. And they know they will lose again in 2018 midterms. The left like Boucher are infuriated, because the policies of their ilk have not led to the Utopia they so want, a totalitarian Utopia.
So liberal fascists need to be prosecuted to the full extemt of the law, and the charges against Boucher should be upgraded to felony assault, because of the new information about the seriousness of Paul’s injuries. This ba$tard Boucher needs to see jail time.

His ribs weren’t “cracked”...they were broken. That’s a far more serious injury and could potentially be life threatening with potential complications. This was an assault meant to cause serious damage. The ‘RAT was a trained medical doctor and would have known the damage that he could well cause. He wasn’t an obtuse 79 IQ’er playing the knockout game.
The story being floated on talk radio is he and the neighbor were in a long-term dispute over grass clippings and who blew what clippings onto who’s yard. Paul enjoys mowing his lawn. It was grass clippings that sent the neighbor over the edge. Lawn rage. A few years in the slammer, and the neighbor might come to grasp that grass clippings just aren’t that important.
It’s a cover story. He ran into Harry Reid’s exercise equipment.

Paul sustained what were initially reported as “minor injuries” after a neighbor allegedly assaulted him in his home Friday. Kentucky State Troopers said the neighbor, Rene Albert Boucher, “intentionally assaulted” the senator. The motive for the alleged assault is unknown, but assaulting a member of Congress is a federal crime and could likely result in severe charges including felony assault or assault of a member. Both Capitol Police and the FBI are investigating the incident.

Very true. My fear is that it will be up to the people to fix this issue. The RINOs are obviously are not up for the job.

I certainly hope so! I don’t think this should be treated like a little “dispute.” That was a heck of an attack. Rand Paul will be suffering for a long time.
