These are churches, not stinking prisons.
It's not a reasonable precaution. Especially in a small town like that.
We should not cave to fear and lock ourselves away to try to stay safe from nutjobs.
And, yes, I will continue to go to our non-secured against bad guys church and not worry.

If that is him and the information is true, ALL Muslims MUST leave the country.

I would say that it should be up the owners (i.e. congregation) of a house of worship to determine whether or not it is free of weapons. This should not be a decision the government should make.

This brings back memories of the shooting in the little Amish school about 10 years ago. The guy just killed little kids — all girls, I think.

The name might be correct but those pictures are not, it seems.
Very interesting. I wonder why his name was connected to the Vegas shooting, which later turned out to be a hoax. He was obviously on the radar for some reason.

WOW! According to the Santa Monica Observer, it claims the “alleged” shooter had converted to islam AND HAS A DIFFERENT NAME, ALSO AN ISLAMIC NAME. MAY BE FALSE NEWS.
I was thinking about Sheep Dogs as I watched the initial reports and crying my eyes and heart out. Even the sheep have a Sheep Dog for protection. We must protect the sheep.

Devin Patrick Kelley has been identified as the gunman who killed at least 24 people at a church in Texas, a U.S. official tells The Daily Beast. Kelley, 26, was a resident of New Braunfels, a suburb of San Antonio, according to public records. On a now-deleted Facebook account, Kelley displayed an assault rifle.
Kelley was married and Kelley’s mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address. San Antonio police reportedly raided Kelley’s home on Sunday evening. A LinkedIn account appearing to belong to Kelley describes him as serving in the U.S. Air Force from his 2009 high-school graduation until 2013, after which he briefly taught at a summer Bible school.
