Yo, John, why don’t you grow a pair and end the association.

I typically don’t get pizza’s from Pappa Johns but I just might have to consider it. Peyton Manning owns many of the store franchises in the Denver area that I know of.

More advertisers will bail on the NFL. The kneelers may become familiar with the unemployment line.

NFL is out of bounds.
10 year penalty.
No first down.
All protesting players ejected for targeting Old Glory.

Eff the NFL. they are dead to me. A new football organization is primed to succeed. Pay attention potential billionaire owners. The time is ripe.

The NFL will give Pappa Johns more spots. They’re losing business because people aren’t ordering pizza ‘cause they’re not watching the games. Shows how out of touch the NFL is.

We had a Papa John's here in Corsicana, Texas, some 18 or so years back and I got one of their pizzas once. It had sugar in the crust and to me, that is not pizza in any way, shape or form--

Never went back and that Papa John's 56 miles south of Big D folded within six months or so.

“The NFL has hurt us,” company founder and CEO John Schnatter said. “We are disappointed the NFL and its leadership did not resolve this.”

Well Papa John, you are a sponsor, so we boycott you also...if you don’t like it, pull away from the NFL...they are going to break your business if you don’t, we are NOT giving in on this one either!!!

Papa Johns,

I am not eating any more of your pizza as long as you advertise with the NFL...

And so are millions of others.

Your move.

Executives said the company has pulled much of its NFL television advertising and that the NFL has responded by giving the company additional future spots.

But will they continue to go down with the ship as the NFL is in suicide mode.

Papa John is getting backlash for advertising in the 1st place I would imagine. Both in a drop in sales and complaints of his patriotism. He’d be a hero and probably increase sales just by jumping ship altogether. Do an ad that says “I’m an American Patriot and proud of it. That’s why I’ll never advertise with the NFL”.

I have a hard time imagining what the NFL would have to do to win me back.

If they fired every kneeler it would get very interesting. People who were not kneeling might start and then fire them, rinse lather and repeat.

That's not enough. So then if they decided that if you are a felon you can't play professional football... Now that would be interesting.

How about if the NFL publically apologized to Tebow. The only reason he was cut was because he was not a thug nor a felon he is a Christian whose faith made the evil NFL nervous.

Papa John's should pull out before people start thinking they back American haters...

The comments on the story posted at ESPN (I do feel soiled for giving ESPN a click) are mostly SJW trash about how the kneeling is necessary to stop cops shooting blacks for no reason, blah blah. Papa Johns should go to hell, etc.

No wonder the NFL feels "empowered" to keep up this crap. I feel very bad for the future of our country.

Since the NFL players said they will not stand for the anthem or respect our great country I have tried to avoid buying from those who advertise with the NFL.

Papa Johns is one company I will no longer buy from.

No brainer, Papa John’s.
Cease sponsoring the NFL.
I won’t be buying any of your pizza or foods until you do.
There’s always Little Ceasar’s as a replacement.
