I emailed the company about ending their NFL advertising. It would be a marketing masterstroke if Papa John’s bailed on the league for its anti American antics. I guarantee they would experience business increases never seen before (see Chickfila). $0 spent on NFL adds, tens of millions in free positive PR.

Ad programs are usually done on a seasonal contract basis, and they cannot be terminated unless a specific contract term has been violated.

PJ’s probably has a lot of money on the NFL program, and surely hasn’t a whole lot more to spend on alternative ads. They’re probably stuck for the season.
