Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued a call for an independent investigation into Trump campaign collusion with Russians just moments after Special Counsel Robert Mueller unsealed indictments for campaign operatives Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, who have turned themselves in to federal authorities.
Pelosi’s statement mentions the collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia but does not address recent revelations about Hillary Clinton’s ties to a discredited dossier about Trump and Russia.
Pelosi said in the statement:

Even with an accelerating Special Counsel investigation inside the Justice Department, and investigations inside the Republican Congress, we still need an outside, fully independent investigation to expose Russia’s meddling in our election and the involvement of Trump officials. Defending the integrity of our democracy demands that Congress look forward to counter Russian aggression and prevent future meddling with our elections.

Go left of what they want. Republicans are starting to see the light that special counsel needs to go away. Dems want to keep him. So they invent a straw man wanting two special counsels (since this one hasn’t indicted our president). MSM will play along and say keeping just the one becomes a reasonable compromise (because it’s all about reasonableness, isn’t it?) And we’re lucky there aren’t two. Classic them. Durbin used to play way left straw man in the Senate all the time. We usually fell for it.

It appears she is trying to divert attention from the results so far, and with the remaining shoes yet to drop she is fearful of her own fate.

Nancy wants an investigation, I would like to see an investigation in her back ground and find out where the money is coming from.

Her cognitive decline has been quite noticeable the last year or so. She may not be completely aware what is going on.
I will say this. I have been watching the nay-sayers totally refuse to consider LS’s theory from the get go because they are too interested in their own self aggrandizement to say they are the smartest one in the room. What led me to this view is just how snarky and insulting they resorted to once they realized his was falling out to be the direction it seemed to be going. But, as anyone who is trying to look at this analytically, his is still a theory because it has not all played out as of yet.
To that, instead of including them, let them go by the wayside. If they want to find out any more, go to twitter like suggested. I’ll congratulate him on bringing us what he has learned because we did not hear this from those nay-sayers who are only interest in what seems to be political heads on pike right now instead of considering a much larger picture is at play and play it must to make sure all of the pikes are populated when the dust finally settles.
I have a theory on Mulehead and RR and it much more to do with Craig Livingstone and anyone who has payed attention back to the first Clinton Administration will know exactly what I mean.
Not the way I interpret Pelosi’s remarks. She is simply following through on the initial ‘plan’ which was to ask for Mueller’s investigation to be expanded in scope after the initial indictments.
The problem is that Mueller’s indictments look like pretty weak-stuff and they really don’t begin to touch on alleged Russian election-tampering. I guess it’s OK to push the Dem’s crazy Aunt Nancy out front on this? She simply looks like a fool 6 days a week. Why not 7 this week?
