H.R. McMaster, President Trump’s embattled national security adviser, labeled the September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorist attacks “mass murder attacks,” instead of calling them acts of terrorism.
McMaster made the comments during a Tuesday event at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) marking the 70th anniversary of the National Security Council (NSC).
He was addressing the expansion of the NSC from about fifty members in the 1960s, when it was run by Henry Kissinger, another CSIS speaker, to its current size of more than 360 employees.
“What has contributed to the growth over time, as well, from 50 or so to 167 is the emphasis on homeland security, especially after the mass murder attacks on our country on September 11, 2001,” McMaster stated.
McMaster was referring to about 167 policy workers at the NSC, which he explained employs about 360 people.
“We have made a conscious effort to reduce the size of the staff and to make sure that form follows function. As we devolve responsibilities back to departments and agencies, as we get out of, really, management of tactical issues, then we are able to reduce. So we have reduced significantly the numbers of policy people and overall staff. It was over four hundred or so at its peak. We are down to about 360-something now. That sounds like a lot. Of those 360, it’s really about 160 to 170 policy people.”

Seems like quite a while since Trump himself has referred to “Radical Islamic Terrorism.”
Personally, I prefer the term “Islamic Terrorism” (or “Mohammedist Terrorism”) but in any case, I am somewhat disappointed that Trump is no longer equating terrorism with Islam.
In my experience most terrorists would be considered radical. Redundant.

Well, I don't care for the term "radical" in this case because terrorism is at the core of Islam, rather than just being a radical interpretation of it.
Mohammed himself was a psychotic terrorist, and he is the perfect man and the role model for all Muslims. If anything, Muslims who oppose terrorism are the radicals, because they are pushing for radical change to the religion -- although I can't say how many there may actually be.

If an enemy is to be defeated, one strategy is to divide and conquer. To omit the word “radical” is to lump all of Islam together. I agree with you that there is a problem at the core of Islam. But when you lump them all together, you are uniting Islam.
Consider the situation in 1939, at the outbreak of WW II in Europe. Spain’s Franco was a fascist, and was on friendly terms with Hitler and Mussolini. Churchill and FDR wisely avoided provoking Franco, and so kept him neutral. They concentrated on the “radical” fascists instead.
Churchill and FDR went all-out against the “radical” fascists, and defeated them in five years. And that turned Franco into a puppy dog.
The real tragedy of today is that the West is not going all-out against the radical Islamists.

Just looking at what he says and the way he says it, I would think he is at LEAST a muzzlem facilitator. Why? Money? Blackmail? Threats? He is one? He reminds me of Brennan, obama's muzzlem lover.
Whether it was “Terrorism” or “Mass Murders” is not the important feature of 9/11. The relevant fact is that they were Moslems performing Jihad against Central Control of Western Infidel Civilization. It was the official launching of the Final War to Islamize the West. If the Western powers cannot gin up a Gates of Vienna scenario alongside a 21st century Lepanto the Jihad may well finally prevail.t has been in progress for 1325 years and may be nearing its culmination because this time around its targets for conversion or extermination refuse to look. If the 20018 elections are not run on and succeed with massive destruction of the Jihad then the West is lost. It may take a couple of more decades but the story is over. The enemy is already well within the gates and its allies are growing ever more violent and effective. The Sultan of America is still calling the shots.
