Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones has had it with anthem protests. Just how tired of it is he? Tired enough that Jones has now publicly said that if his team doesn’t respect the flag, they’re not going to play.
Jones was asked by Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, about two Cowboys players who raised their fists at the end of the anthem. Jones said he did not see the raised fists. But then, Jones made a definitive statement about how he wants to see his team to handle the anthem from now on.
According to Pro Football Talk, Jones said, “If there’s anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will not play. OK? Understand? If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won’t play. Period. Period.”

I agree. At post #78 of this thread, I sincerely believe that CBS pulled a STUNT by claiming Colin Kaepernick would stand for the National Anthem.
CBS never asked Colin about this, and CBS QUICKLY wrote a retraction.
That will be impossible since next week is their bye week. I have been a Dallas fan since Roger Staubach days. I do not agree with everything Jerry has done since he purchased the team (such as firing the legendary Tom Landry and keeping an idiot like Jason Garrett as head coach), but, if more owners would take a stand against this foolishness, it would stop. I do not think that Jerry meant that he would keep the entire team from playing, but those who choose to make a***s of themselves should bear the consequences of their actions!
Basically Jones has awoken to the reality that his team, the Dallas Cowgirls has an incurable case of financial ebola and is hemorrhaging money out of every conceivable orafice to the tune of millions upon millions of dollars a week with no way out and no end in sight. Jerry's once financially lucrative, team is circling the toilet bowl and is quickly becoming worthless so in desperation he is trying this new tactic/ploy =
"'Trust me'; don't believe our whole teams actions or your lying eyes: we really are 'patriots'; if we weren't I wouldn't let our team play." ...Right, and we're all morons who are supposed to have collective historical amnesia. Jerry Jones statement reeks of desperation. It is both duplicitious and calculated for the sole purpose of duping former fans for the sloe purpose of regaining lost revenue. Jones and the Dallas Cowerers don't love America, they love MONEY. That is all they care about.
His message is simple: "Redefine your definition of 'patriotism', rejoin us, compromise and reject America, patriotism, everything you believe in and everything America stands for, 'bend the knee' and join the Dallas Cowgirls and the nfl (no longer worthy of caps)" in our open anti-American, black racist 'ONLY BLM', PC pink communist rebellion."
Whatever you do, don't be deceived by Jerry Jones' twisted ploy.
The nfl and duplicitous, evil, Marxist nfl owners like Jones, and Kraft and the players want us to compromise our principles and values and side with them and the NFL in their open rebellion and "symbolically join them" in their hatefilled, rebellious, PC, racist "ONLY Black Lives Matter", anti-American "unity" against our flag, our nation, our anthem, our military, our police our traditional American values for money to make them rich! That is their ultimate goal:
"Come on, join us 'patriots'... link arms and admit you are in reality all a bunch of white supremicist racist, nazi, bigots. Openly confess and demonstrate repentence of your 'sins' and conform to our socialist agenda by linking arms with us in socialist unity."
What is left unsaid: "Those fans who defy our 'request' and do not comply with our 'unity' rebellion will be shunned, targeted and later rounded up and sent to 'reeduction camps'."
This so reminiscent of the Nazi salute in 1939ff: those "bad Germans" who did not "comply", join in and perform the Nazi salute were targeted, persecuted and killed.
Jerry Jones, Bob Kraft and the nfl want us to compromise our patriotism, our love of country, flag and nation and symbolically join the NFL in show of rebellious "unity" BUT, "What fellowship does light have with darkness, good with evil (and subjugation for the sake of 'unity')?"
The answer is a resounding NOTHING! We can have no "unity" with those who hate our nation, its flag, its values and with those who despise us.
The anti-American Dallas Cowerers, the New England Turncoat and the entire National Felon League has, to quote Admiral Yamato: "awoken a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve".
We are at war; the NFL started this cultural war against US, against America and they are attacking EVERYTHING WE STAND FOR, BELIEVE IN AND HOLD NEAR AND DEAR.
Like WWII, there can not be any, truce, or "compromise" for the sake of their false notion of "unity", no "cessation of hostilities" with those who have made themselves our enemies with out a cause.
We Americans who love our county more than any game have now taken up the fight forced upon us and like "the greatest generation" we too will settle for only one outcome: NOTHING LESS THAT THEIR TOTAL SURRENDER!
We choose to STAND; we choose to "Live Free or Die", rather than ""huddle up", "bend the knee" and subjugate ourselves, our families, and our beloved nation to the racist, socialist, PC tyranny and perverted ideology of the Dallas Cowgirls and the National Felon League.

No matter what, the companies that own ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox must pay the NFL the amount of the contract. No skin off the NFL's nose, but these companies have had some major hits on their stock prices.

I was watching the MLB playoffs on Fox Sports, and I was disappointed that they no longer show the 7th Inning stretch where they sang God Bless America.

I expect he really means that any player who does not respect the flag will not play. If there are only 2 or 3 bad apples, then the team will take the field without them. And I expect that their pay will be docked. Of course, the union may have something else to say there, but I thought I had read there was an NFL rule that players must "stand respectfully". Even if the league doesn't enforce it, I bet their contracts say they must adhere to NFL rules.

You only get one chance to be a man. To do what is right in the face of adversity. When the calling came, Jones knelt and locked arms to protest against America. Not just the military, but the people we empower to enforce the laws we have chosen to live by. I have never been a Jerry Jones fan but was ready to become a Cowboys fan when I thought he might be the sole source of reason in the NFL. He was a BLM stooge just like the rest of his ghetto team.
There’s carry over into 2018 big time, from everything from sonsorship, branding, endorsements, player advertising past and present. They have defamed themselves.
Why not? It’s a free country. I HATE what they do, but the owners can enforce that they cannot do anything before during or after the Anthem, or not.
I’m watching the Jets. They’re 3 and 2 and it’s a miracle.
