Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones has had it with anthem protests. Just how tired of it is he? Tired enough that Jones has now publicly said that if his team doesn’t respect the flag, they’re not going to play.
Jones was asked by Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, about two Cowboys players who raised their fists at the end of the anthem. Jones said he did not see the raised fists. But then, Jones made a definitive statement about how he wants to see his team to handle the anthem from now on.
According to Pro Football Talk, Jones said, “If there’s anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will not play. OK? Understand? If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won’t play. Period. Period.”

Leftists own the NFL, and the teams are stuffed full of BLM wannabees.
How the Cowboys justify first whining for the loss of their FIVE DEAD COPS in downtown Dallas, shot down in a BLM Protest, and then turn around and take a knee for BLM, I’m sure I don’t know. Morally sickening to see the hypocrisy.

To me, the NFL is just the beginning of taking down the entire entertainment complex in this country. It will extend to all things Hollywood and the news media. I pretty much dropped out on those things years ago.
The whole Anthem thing is just a symptom of the bigger problem. Like coddling thugs like Ezekiel Elliott.

What he didnt do 2 weeks ago was kneel for the anthem—nor did any Dallas Cowboys players. Nor has a single Dallas Cowboy player knelt for the anthem in the 2 years since this silliness started.
What Jones did do 2 weeks ago is kneel with all of his players before the anthem. In other words, he didn't do a damn thing to disrespect the flag.
But hey, who needs actual facts when there's a rigid, oversimplified narrative to push—one which conflates the behavior of all NFL teams. The fact is, what the Dallas Cowboys did was qualitatively different than any team which allowed disrespect for the anthem and the flag.
Kneeling before or after the anthem is about as empty a statement as anyone could make...

OTOH, the NHL season started. I very highly doubt they’ll be any bullsh*t “protests” occurring in that league. Gee, I (don’t) wonder why...
CBS apparently made up the story about Kaepernick would stand if he becomes a player again.
Apparently, not only are ticket sales hurting but DOLLARS for the companies broadcasting the games are LOSING BIG BUCKS.
CBS had to quickly retract the story. Colin Kaepernick claimed he was never asked about that in the interview.
Sounds like CBS was trying to do something to stop the FATAL BLEEDING over this.
Finally, the companies that own ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC are committed to pay the NFL a fixed amount -- no matter what -- even if people stop viewing the games. No skin off the NFL's nose.
Jerry Jones saying what he did may be an affirmation of this.
