Police found a note in the hotel room of Stephen Paddock, the gunman behind the mass shooting in Las Vegas, that had hand-written calculations about where he needed to aim to kill as many people as possible.
In an interview that will be aired Sunday on CBS's "60 Minutes," Officer Dave Newton from the Las Vegas Police Department's K-9 unit said he noticed a note on the shooter's bedside table after officers entered the room. The note was next to one of the windows that Paddock smashed with a hammer to clear an opening to fire into the crowd from his 32nd-floor hotel suite at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
"I could see on it he had written the distance, the elevation he was on, the drop of what his bullet was gonna be for for the crowd," Newton said. "So he had had that written down and figured out so he would know where to shoot to hit his targets from there."
Using semi-automatic rifles that he modified with a "bump stop" to increase their rate of fire, Paddock on Oct. 1 killed 58 people and injured nearly 500 others. Paddock, 64, killed himself with a gun before police entered the room to find his body and 47 weapons.
More than 20,000 people were attending the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival when Paddock began shooting into the crowd, which was about 400 yards away.

Now this guy is so methodical...we might be able to listen and pick up the rythum of these first shots....and figure it out.
We know absolutely breaking the windows is the first thing he had to do right before he began shooting. Surprised he didn't rip the curtains off.
Wouldn't the casings be different? People don't know what tracers are and the lights of the concert...you might not even notice them.
She must be a CNN reporter, trying to get attention away from Paddock as a hater of all people, who have lots of friends and get lots of respect, which is Trump. There is nothing in Paddock’s life to indicate he is a America first patriot and a Trump supporter.

That’s the cab driver saying that burst sounds farther away. And it could be simply shooting out the other window which was on a face of the building angled away from the cab driver.
The official police timeline had the security guard confronting the shooter at 10:15 IIRC and getting shot and the cops on the floor within 60 seconds after he was shot, at 10:16.

The floor he picked was nine full windows down from the roof line setback at the Penthouse level.
Somebody broke out the ninth window down and broke another window eleven across.

Please take the time, make the effort to map all three locations.
Maybe Mandalay was picked so ISIS could operate under the nose of their enemy, the Saudi owners, just above.
But maybe that is also why somebody double crossed somebody and the gun deal went bad.
We are not talking about any other music festivals or about any other hotels at these three sites that don’t point to mecca.
All three sites on the short list with the qibla running from the snipers nest across the killing field to mecca and also the broken out windows 9 down and 11 across.
It just can’t be a coincidence...

Yeah, I’m with you on the possibility of shooting the windows before using the hammer. Makes sense. That’s the one thing he couldn’t rehearse. Swing too hard and you might injure one of those precious shooting hands.
As for the tracers, if he only fired them at the tanks, it’s quite likely no one noticed that. And that’s where I thought he might use them as it was long distance and maybe he hoped a tracer could ignite the fuel.
He did try and fail once to buy tracers in late Sept.

He was an unarmed security guard. Paddock saw that on video.
I guess it depends what was down below.
Listen on headphones. Cab driver video audio in right ear. Video audio in kill zone in left ear. Those text notes in video, two of them, are dead accurate.
If you figure out the REAL source of his income you likely have everything solved. He may have had his family and others thinking his millions were handed to him by the casinos but it is simply IMPOSSIBLE. The high stakes video poker machines he was playing are 97% payout machines, meaning if you play every hand to perfection you will LOSE 3% of your money long term. He was obviously using the VP machines to launder his money and hide the true source of his income.
