Who Was Stephen Paddock? The Mystery of a Nondescript ‘Numbers Guy’
The New York Slimes ^ | October 7, 2017 | Sabrina Tavernise, Serge F. Kovaleski and Julie Turkewitz

Posted on 10/07/2017 10:59:03 AM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

LAS VEGAS — Stephen Paddock was a contradiction: a gambler who took no chances. A man with houses everywhere who did not really live in any of them. Someone who liked the high life of casinos but drove a nondescript minivan and dressed casually, even sloppily, in flip-flops and sweatsuits. He did not use Facebook or Twitter, but spent the past 25 years staring at screens of video poker machines.

Mr. Paddock, a former postal worker and tax auditor, lived an intensely private, unsocial life that exploded into public view on Sunday, when he killed 58 people at a country music festival and then shot himself. But even with nationwide scrutiny on his life, the mystery of who he was has only seemed to deepen.

One photo. Lighting effect on his adam’s apple, no actual “13” tattoo.

For the record, 10-milligrams is a light dosage of valium. If 50 10-milligram tablets of valium created mass murderers, there would be few people left in the states.

.
What? Do you mean that you can’t re-use explosives?

How many people know this secret?

It was fake news. “He had dynamite, the exact same explosive used in...”

They found him alone and shot. I wonder who claimed he turned a gun on himself, and with what evidence.

The entire thing is eerily close to the opening chapter of Matt Bracken’s “Enemies, Foreign and Domestic.”

Yes. We know very little about that.

In fact, one could argue that the reason the photo of the corpse was leaked was to promote the assumption that he committed suicide.

Ok - me, I'm just speculating. He may very well not be, but he certainly fits the profile, based on first hand experiences. The vibe is too strong for me to ignore.

Valium 10 is a hefty dose. Usually used at that dosage for sedation or extreme muscle spasms.

Valium hits the same brain receptors as alcohol. That is why it is used for detox. It is a major muscle relaxant, and anxiety reducer.

Been around since the fifties and I would guess this is not why this man caused over 500 causalities.

Your information is better than mine. I’m not a drug taker so I really should have looked it up.

How would Mossad profit from being involved?

I have no idea; I didn't say I believed it, but it's something I saw floating around I thought was interesting.

The 4chan posts add up because they predicted the location, mentioned casinos, and supplied a motive. The motive makes sense because it was done once already. First, 9-11, then TSA and ridiculously expensive and ineffective scanning equipment at every airport. To date the TSA hasn’t caught a single terrorist, but it has greatly expanded the government and lined countless pockets with its exorbitant expenditures.

Oh, I agree; the 4chan posts have more coherence WRT motive. And I firmly believe the TSA is a con, likely for purposes of (a) conditioning Americans to accept arbitrary and unlawful exercises of power, while (b) providing a highly visible (i.e. for display purposes) example of doing something, in addition to installing yet another bureaucracy into the federal behemoth that needs funding. [Like how the excuses made when city/county budgets get tight and they threaten/FUD-about fire- and police-services rather than reducing administration and/or cracking down on corruption. Every single time. (Sometimes teachers are in that group, too; though that's more at the state-level.)]

Congress will mandate another massively expensive fix. Casinos will come first, but next will be universities, schools, hospitals, conserts, fairs—you name it. They may be able to include churches that exceed a certain membership number.

Connected people will make a fortune. That is the goal.

This is true; the whole never let a crisis go to waste philosophy that we heard leaked [from, IIRC, Rahm Emmanuel] is quite telling: it doesn't matter if the crisis was foreign, or not, or 'natural' or false-flag — they were always going to jump aboard to try to ram through everything from gun-control to expansions to the scope of TSA to kickback fueled boondoggles… to the outside observer it's throw everything at the wall and see what sticks.

In fact, we've seen this all before WRT gun-control: the Gun Control Act of 1968 was initially prompted by the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1963, and that's without touching on any of the myriad of theories on his assassination.

The mass of Antifa literature in his room and house dissolve that statist fallacy.

Anitifa literature? Didn't know they could write. First I have heard of this. You intrigue me. Where is this information? Source?

Unfortunately there will be “copycats” Hopefully they won’t be multimillionaires with access to large capacity semi autos.

That’s why when in public, especially where I expect large, mixed crowds, I kept an eye out for
1)The entrance/exit in case of danger.
2)For suspicious people

3) I stay with friends and keep my opinions to myself

4) Don’t flash large wags of cash in public.

5) I keep different amounts in each pocket so I have enough to make a purchase without revealing the total amount I carry.

6)I don’t go to dangerous areas and when I must,
7) I “carry”

I may sound paranoid but in my 50+ years I’ve never been robbed or accosted by strangers(just by friends or family, Hahaha)

Someones trying to control the narrative.

Absolutely. This was a fairly long article that the New York Slimes wrote.

But scanning the paragraphs, I saw no questions raised about the possibility of being radicalized etc.

So the Slimes is committed to painting the guy as a whacky lone wolf killer. The bastards...

The money laundering makes sense…. However, I have a hard time connecting the dots to how a connection to the mafia turns him into someone meticulously planning and carrying out mass murder of complete strangers. That’s not the mafia’s style…. Regardless, if he was money laundering, he was in all likelihood involved with some serious criminals… and as we know, that crowd plays for keeps. What if the criminals he was connected with wasn’t the mob? What if he ended up being on the hook for millions to some criminal organization that has ties to ISIS or Al Qaeda or some such group? Then they made a deal with him that if he executed their plan of mass murder, they would let him, his girlfriend and rest of his family live? And he executed their plan to a T until he figured out that the plan wasn’t going quite the way it was figured out in the planning sessions.....

InfoWars is the only source of any relevent facts in this matter.

All of the Fake News carnivals are still puzzling over the “motive” of a far leftist killing a crowd of patriots.

That’s a real scratcher, is it not!
