About twenty minutes ago, a caller to the Rush Limbaugh show made a great point. It clearly defines the FBI in October of 2017.
Not even 12 hours after the mass shooting in Las Vegas, the FBI has determined that the shooter was not involved with ISIS. This contrast their 12 month investigations into Donald Trump, and whether he had a relationship with Russia's leadership, that cost Clinton the election. They still can't state that Trump didn't have a connection to Russia, that cost Clinton the election.
In response Rush corrected the caller mildly, saying that it isn't the FBI can't exonerate Trump. They simply won't.
This led Rush to voice an observation himself that was pretty good.
If Russian President Vladimir Putin made a public statement, that yes he and Trump did work together, would the FBI reject it as it has the ISIS claim this shooter was affiliated with them?
Rush was of the opinion they'd embrace such a Putin claim, although it dismissed the ISIS claim just hours later.
Certainly food for thought.
Caller > Rush, 12 Hours On FBI / No ISIS Connection, 12 Months On / Can't say no Russian Connection
Bingo.
We are trapped in a country where the zeitgeist comes from our enemies. Much of the government and all of the media.
Pete Williams at NBC is trying to spin it as gambling loses. When the MSM does NOT report the political affiliation of a nut job, you know the guy was a liberal.
I heard this. You are correct, both the caller & Rush made very good points. Hopefully other media members will make the same point.
I blame the GOP for Russia as much as the DNC.
Telling isnt it.
Sharp guy. Heard Rush speaking about the call.
FBI = worthless. Caller was so correct in his assessment.
Great post..!
Madness, isn’t it?
I’m far from any certainty on this yet, but a thought crossed my mind. What if...it’s all somewhat true? An unstable guy is a perfect target for conversion to islam.
Yes, that is a good rule of thumb.
I’d like to think they would. However...
You should.
Yes.
I agree. I’m not certain of it yet. It just seems strange how fast they seem to want to quash any idea of it.
You are right, that people who are going through a rough time can be turned.
When I go through rough times I hunker down and stick with the ideals I have always had. I look at them as a test of whether I’m doing what I should be or not.
My question may not have any relevance to the Vegas strip shooting, just simple curiosity.
Is there any indication/statistics of those who converted to Islam, what were their previous political inclinations?
More progressives converted, more right-leaning people converted, or evenly split?
I know a large part of the recently converted came from people in jail (cough)more blacks(cough), so that’s not a lot of Republicans/conservatives. But. What about the general population wise statistics?
Looked around a little bit, but didn’t find anything addressing the numbers.
I think we’re safe in betting 99.99% of the Islam converts in the U.S. were not Conservative before joining.
Conservatives don’t join Islam or their affiliates for ANY reason.
That’s for democrats only.
