Whether she likes it or not, the country is sick and tired of her. If she really wants to know what happened, all she needs to do is look in the mirror.
I go to dialysis three days a week. I’m one of the three white people in there. Recently they installed tv sets, hanging from the ceiling, over each bed.
I don’t watch TV, I’d rather sleep through the treatment. However, most TV’s in there are tuned to CNN (FOX is not on the menu).
Once in a while I happen to glance over to the other TV’s and invariably, CNN is on. I can’t hear the audio, but there is always...ALWAYS...a crawler at the bottom of the screen with something to do with Trump. They are totally obsessed with him. It’s non-ending Trump bashing.
They won’t change the subject, and can’t change their minds. It’s been that way for months. The media needs an emergency exorcism performed. Most of what they say is the regurgitation of green pea soup. Their lives are controlled and going nowhere.
I threw away my TV a while ago. The only time I see TV today now is when I work out at the gym. No sound, but close-captioned.
I agree with your view on CNN — I’m at the gym at 5 AM and most stations are doing news. There is a row of different stations, and I see people reporting on weather, traffic, fires, crimes, accidents, all kinds of things. The TV that is tuned to CNN? That’s Trump non-stop. There is no other news in the world. Just constant coverage of the Trump Atrocity. But only CNN seems to view the world that way. They are locked in their own crazy prison of the mind.
I appreciate the hat tip, but the credit for ferreting out the fake-news, should really go to Piytar, who explained how including a hashtag in a tweet worked. I am twitter illiterate but it seems if a tweet was sent to Trump, it shows up on his twitter same as if someone sent an email to your email account. So it was received by Trump’s account, but it was never ‘retweeted’ by Trump himself to anyone else. (did I get that right, Piytar?)
