The Republicans will insist that criminals be excluded and subject to deportation. That will be the deal breaker for Democrats. In the cold light of day , Republicans will not have to acknowledge that they agreed to amnesty for criminal aliens.
Looks like flip-flopping to me. Back and forth - to please his base and Pelosi and Schumer, so he thinks.
He has to understand he was put into office specifically to put an end to illegal immigration and is on record stating he’d “end DACA his first day in office.”
He will NEVER please Pelosi and Schumer and he’ll lose his base in the process.
But did he deny making a debt deal with them? When he rolled daca to congress did he really believe there would be no Amnesty? If he is that incompetent he should step down.

I agree with Trump. Having watched some kids of Mexicans grow up, they are harder working than some of the fortunate American children who are raised in affluence. To throw out these young people, if they identify as American through and through, is shortsighted. We need them to fill in for retiring baby boomers in jobs that many young Americans wouldn’t do. Immigrants are the ones who often gravitate to certain endeavors. Let’s get them interviewed, access their allegiance, and get them on the path to citizenship.
But please stop enabling this sick cycle by simply ending ALL handouts and free medical care to everyone!
