Swamp creatures are shape shifters. Every election cycle the Dems shift to the right. They know they have at least 10 Dem Senate seats in Trump country.

If you notice, thier recent branding, it mirrors MAGA. They are going to run as populists.

Trump is using this opportunity to both march his agenda forward and shame the feckless republicans. A Dem in a strong Trump state is going to do what he says, especially at election time.

I’m sure Schumer can have a tax bill on the floor this afternoon.

Didn’t we say that the last time when they signed that 5 month or whatever it was bill to keep the government open? The Republicans got killed on it - no wall funding, Planned Parenthood, etc. and tried to spin it like it was a success. They said things would be different this next time.

It is extraordinarily important for Trump to show the Republicans he’s willing to cut a deal that does not include them, or their priorities.

The Dim plan, in this case, is not unreasonable.

It’s the GOP that wants this increase to extend PAST the 2018 elections.

Because they are feckless and corrupt cowards, unworthy of a single vote.

Ryan, McConnell, and McCain can’t be the first to run out and surrender for the favorable press. Good to see them feel what it is like.

Reagan said half a loaf is better than no loaf, and get the other half later.

I believe tax reform is what Trump wants.
Maybe even more than the wall?

The Republicans with their majority have failed to give Trump a single major piece of legislation. This extension was going to happen anyway but they can’t deliver it to him with wall funding or anything else he wants. He just spit in their faces and I applaud him for it.

I hope Trump just reads the Republicans their own self-serving statements about how they are separate branch of government and have to act on their own principles and can’t just do what he wants. They are scum of the lowest order and he is going to absolutely humiliate them.

That process only works because interest rates are so low. There’s no compelling reason to put a stop to it until people stop lending money to Uncle Sam.

Bingo. Easy money thanks to Obama.

Obama probably bears less responsibility for this than the retarded baboon who preceded him.

If you call what we have in Congress Republicans, then they can all go to hell and I won’t miss them. With very few exceptions.

I’ve been a big fan of Trump, but trust me on this one — the LAST thing you want to see in Washington is Donald Trump in the White House and Democrats controlling both Houses of Congress.

Yeah I did wonder back 2006 about the too easy money figuring it would be a problem.

Not sure what to make of this.
I have come to despise all the Swamp Rats equally,
including Ryan and McConnell.
