The message I’m getting from President Trump is that he wants the Republicans in Congress to act like a governing party.

It’s amazing because it’s how our Constitutional government was setup to work.

I just haven’t seen it work this way in my lifetime and it had to happen because the GOPe are being STUPID (and un-American)

Is there anything in this about funding the wall because I don’t see it?

I suggest everyone watch Tom Friedman’s CNBC appearance yesterday.

https://www.cnbc.com/video/2017/09/05/tom-friedman-us-needs-strategic-immigration-policy.html?play=1

https://www.cnbc.com/video/2017/09/05/tom-friedman-china-cant-have-it-both-ways-on-north-korea.html?play=1

He even was okay with the Wall! Assuming the immigration policy uses common sense. Even Friedman knows that open immigration has hurt the middle class, et al.

McConnell has (with some provisos that I’m sure will get hashed out)

Ryan is quiet.

Waiting for McCain’s statement...

The Democrats, the media and Trump tweets all against Repukes on Hurricane relief is going to have them begging for mercy. The Repukes are not Trump. They will fold at the slightest hit from the media

Some serious Cantorizing needs to happen, starting with Paul Ryan.

The United States government has not had a budget for over 10 years. The “continuing resolutions” make the government a giant spending machine.

Which is exactly what the unaccountable Deep State wants.

We haven’t seen it work this way in our lifetimes because it’s the first time we’ve basically had three different parties in control of the Federal government: Democrats, Republicans, and an independent President who hijacked the GOP nomination process to get elected last year.

Maybe President Trump is trying to curry favor with the Democrats. For support for the wall is just a guess.

Is this also a signal that Trump is willing to make other deals with the dems..if they give him what he wants?

That process only works because interest rates are so low. There’s no compelling reason to put a stop to it until people stop lending money to Uncle Sam.

He needs the Democrats to be a realistic option. If he can get Repukes to get the wall up then they can lose in 2018 and he can work with the Dems. The only thing the Repukes might do that the Dems won’t is repeal Obamacare and the wall. Beyond that Trump can work with the Dems.

The old Clinton ploy of triangulation at play maybe? Play the evil democrats off the bumbling, lying GOPE?

This really makes McWeasal and the Little Sh*t Ryan look like total worthless cronies. If they buck it they catch the wrath of the Democrats which they fear more than that of their own base.

Trump does need to extract a high price, border wall fully funded, to sign DACA, if he reneges on the border wall he will lose in 2020.

The Republicans did this to themselves. I am happy that Trump has screwed those low life Republican Establishment RINO vermin and scum of humanity!!! McConnell, Ryan, McCain, Flake deserve to be thrown out into the cold.

POTUS, Trump just gave them a NYC street kid lesson. “You work with me and I will work with you, 100%. “You screw and bad mouth me...I’ll cut your useless political hearts out. You deadbeat Republicans did nothing but sit on your butts for eight months and bad mouth me. So...I cut the ground out from under you. The American people by the millions will stick with me (Trump).

Conservative Republicans...get rid of traitor/turncoats, Ryan and McConnell today!!! Or, die politically with them!!! POTUS, Trump rules the day for the American people!!!
