A descendant of Gen. Robert E. Lee has stepped down as pastor of his North Carolina church after facing blowback from parishioners and others for his comments denouncing racism and lauding the Black Lives Matter movement. As a minister and newspaper columnist, Robert W. Lee IV, the fourth great-nephew of the Confederate general, has spoken and written countless words, but the five sentences he uttered during MTV's Video Music Awards last week were just too much for some members of his congregation.

If Lee could see into the future and know that this punk was his descendant, he would have a vasectomy.
Certainly wouldn’t call a “4th great-nephew” any kind of “descendant” to be claiming. Like a monkey’s uncle. And all for publicity to nay say a Mexican War hero, and Commandant of West Point, whose battlefield tactics and maneuvers are still studied there for our young officer corps.
Except that he isn’t a direct descendent.
Using that "logic", the Southern Baptist Convention is a Dixie church (founded entirely by southerners and headquartered in Georgia), so it shouldn't have any congregations outside of the 13 states represented on the confederate flag.
Sounds like that's where he looked to find his sermon.

The SBC is the 2nd largest Christian denomination in the USA (#1 is Roman Catholic) and has churches in 48 states. Just going to their website, selecting “Find a Southern Baptist Church near you” and giving them a Chicago zip code, I got tons of hits. Over 200 churches popped up:
