Howdy, PRO.
Sounds a bit unpleasant up there these days, what with the heat AND smoke in the air. I guess there wasn’t any playtime outside with the lil wild man today.

Hiya radu!
Yeah, the smoke is really bad, but I did get a chance to head to son's place today and bring lunch from Arby's and we feasted, and then I took the dogs outside for awhile, the smoke didn't really get bad til late afternoon. The wind is blowing, just hope it blows this crap out!
You and the kittehs have a good day?

I feel for y’all having to deal with the smoke. We dealt with it quite a bit last year when there were many large wildfires in this neck o’ the woods. Hope the wind changes direction so y’all can breathe freely again.
Nice you had a little time with your son and were able to get outside with the pooches.
It was a good enough day here. We got a nice soaking rain this afternoon and are grateful for it. Tomorrow will be a little dicey, they say.
Since all shopping had been dealt with yesterday, I just stayed in and did housework. The ol’ back’s paying for the vacuuming tonight. LOL

I am good, thank you. Feeling very grateful for all who are helping my fellow Texans survive the storm.
I am far away and unaffected.

No, thank goodness he went out so I got a good night’s sleep. Even did some much-needed cleaning today. So, it’s been a good day! LOL!
How was yours? Any Harvey-rain hitting your turf yet?

Good to hear things are good with you. I knew, and was glad, you were far enough away from the storm to be safe.
It’s heartening to see so many people head to TX to help out those who are in such desperate need. Harvey really hammered them.
We’ll be affected by the storm but not nearly to the degree as TX. Had some light rain today from the first band and tomorrow and Fri. will be stormy. I don’t mind a few thunderstorms and a chance for some lightning pix. LOL

LOL! Sounds like we had the same kind of day - - house-cleaning. I have a heating pad on my back tonight due to all the vacuuming but it HAD to be done.
Yes, we did get some light rain from the storm this afternoon and there’s a band of heavier rain closing in now. Tomorrow’s going to be dicey with thunderstorms and possible tornados. The weather report just ended and it looks like the center of the storm system will pass right over us.

You got that right. Thunderstorms will be good enough and I hope there’s some bodacious lightning. LOL! But we can do without tornados.
I haven’t pulled up the owlets yet tonight. Watched them a little while last night and yep, the oldest two should porch any time now. Shorty still has a ways to go but who knows? He might slip out early. That’s a very outgoing bird.

He is very bold. Snatched the mouse that Jasper flung through the doorway. LOL! Now the others are lurking at the door hoping to get the next one. They’re so funny at this age.
And then they’re gone. None of these have been as bratty as that first bunch. Egad!
