President Trump has told senior aides that he has decided to remove Stephen K. Bannon, the embattled White House chief strategist who helped Mr. Trump win the 2016 election, according to two administration officials briefed on the discussion.
The president and senior White House officials were debating when and how to dismiss Mr. Bannon. The two administration officials cautioned that Mr. Trump is known to be averse to confrontation within his inner circle, and could decide to keep on Mr. Bannon for some time.
As of Friday morning, the two men were still discussing Mr. Bannons future, the officials said. A person close to Mr. Bannon insisted the parting of ways was his idea, and that he had submitted his resignation to the president on Aug. 7, to be announced at the start of this week, but it was delayed in the wake of the racial unrest in Charlottesville, Va.
Mr. Bannon had clashed for months with other senior West Wing advisers and members of the presidents family.
But the loss of Mr. Bannon, the right-wing nationalist who helped propel some of Mr. Trumps campaign promises into policy reality, raises the potential for the president to face criticism from the conservative news media base that supported him over the past year.

Its not true. He read something wrong. Mcmaster stays
As an aside, a seemingly long time ago, I was the first on this board to decry the appointments of the Kushners to the Trump inner security circle. Nepotism, paid or unpaid, is a pig that not all the lipstick in the world can turn into a lily. I said at the time that the liberal couple would be "the (problem) gift that keeps on giving"....and I was dead right. They are the two people in the White House that are the closest to the president's ear.

Amen Sister!
That there are and they are so juvenile. Then, you have the snowflakes who predict every change means its the end. They are exhausting in their limited ability to see past today.
Rock on President Trump, Im not going anywhere, it wasnt Bannons name on the ballot or Kelly ann or miller.
It's Trump's agenda and he's the one pushing it.
Why would he be 'finished'?
Hopefully a Creep State resistance is being set up.
what is Dem WH?
It’s Bannon and us vs. the Deep State now. Those are actually better odds, now that we don’t have to drag the WH into everything. Steve was inside just long enough to acquire all our targets’ positions.
Trump needs all the loyalists around him he can find. Even so he should get rid of his family as formal advisors in the WH. Nepotism always creates internal friction. It isn’t Bannon.
Jared and Ivanka are getting promoted to High Prince and High
Princess of the WH
I’m referring specifically to Kelly. Bannon didn’t report to McMaster.
No definition given.
Cohn is a lib
Mcmaster hired cair person to head up counterterrorism
Tillerson is for climate change
Etc
There you go. Bannon is not a staff person really. He’s a doer. And Bannon knows there’s a world of opportunity to build New Media in support of MAGA.
You watch. Bannon will be a big contributor to the MAGA cause, just no longer part of the administration. In fact, it’s exciting to think what he’ll create...
I guess Kelly is running a tight ship now. And that’s fine.
Bannon, though helpful, was a valuable advisor early on in Trump’s administration. Guys like Miller and Gorka and Sarah Huckabee are picking up the load.
We’ll do just fine. Trump didn’t need Bannon to build skyscrapers. Though it’s nice to have his strategic advice, he can get that from other staff too.
What do you say, HarleyLady27?
CHANT BANNON
Chant “Bannon”, “Bannon”, at Trump rally.
Start it.
Miller and Gorka are likely the next targets from McMaster/Jivanka.
I think the big story here is that Trump is very confident of Kelly’s abilities. He’s now got a Number 2 who can really whip a large organization in shape.
You can say all you want about Trump’s genius as a builder and politician. But to make it all work, he needs department heads — and especially a chief of staff — who are top notch. When you get as high up as he is, your hiring skills are absolutely key.
Overall, this is a very good sign that MAGA will now become more executable....
If Trump picked Bannon, and Trump DID pick Bannon, then I have full confidence in Bannon and believe your predictions will bear out.
EVERYBODY PANIC!!!!!!!!!!1
*Sigh, eyeroll, goes back to work*
I think Kelly is allied with McMaster and Mattis and McMaster is looking to do Trump in.
But we will see.
