History proves you cannot appease Marxist/fascist/socialist/globalist totalitarians. They will never be satisfied and will never stop. Trump is absolutely correct. If you allow them to tear down these historical Civil War monuments, then they’ll be coming after Washington and Jefferson next.
In fact, they’ll be coming after the American flag, our national anthem, our Judeo-Christian heritage, the Bible, and anything to do with the founding of this great nation while leaving the institution of slavery intact. And that includes the constitution itself. It did not ban slavery and must therefore be destroyed.
And they will continue destroying monuments, burning books, rewriting history, and fomenting hatred against America and especially against white Christian Americans.
It’s already started on all fronts mentioned in this post. And the weak-kneed “useful idiot” appeasers in the GOPe will go along with it until it’s too late. The left is turning our society upside down and inside out as we speak with godless anti-Christian Marxism, fascism, socialism, globalism, multiculturalism, homosexualism, abortionism, racism against whitey, etc, etc, and the GOP doesn’t give a damn.
They’ve acquiesced and surrendered to the godless Marxist/fascist/globalist/multiculuralist takeover of America and are satisfied that the left will be satisfied with their appeasement, will stop their quest for power and we will have peace in our time.

Oh, and, obviously, it’s not really about slavery or the poor or the homosexuals or human rights or climate change or multiculturalism or any other cause or excuse. What you’re doing is falling for Richard Spencer-style propaganda.
Spencer is wrong in his assertion that western society is built on scientific and industrial advances. And I’m not referring to his moral position. He’s wrong on intellectual grounds.
My argument here is very strong, and probably involves a level of analysis you haven’t considered.

While I share the opprobrium with which these members of Congress regard white supremacists, the KKK, and Nazi sympathizers, their tweets suggest that they are woefully ignorant about the belief-set and motives of the Antifa thugs sprinkled among the counter-protesters in Charlottesville, VA.
It only took me a couple of clicks to find this song, “Modern day Witch-Hunt” by Aus Rotten, one of the least vulgar to which Antifa extremists listen
to pump themselves up for a little street action and head-bashin’.
If you have a hard time actually listening to this “song” and deciphering the lyrics, here they are:

I have no idea who Richard Spencer is? So, what level of analysis are you referring to? I am a trained biological scientist, so I do know it’s value. I await your analysis.

More than anything, a society is held together by human interactions. When a society collapses, it does so as a result of the breakdown of relationships among its people.
And the number one factor causing a society to thrive is when its people love one another in obeying the second greatest commandment given to them by their first love, their Lord and Savior.

But if we’re being honest, let’s really be honest. God has given us everything we have. If we exalt ourselves, we will be humbled. Richard Spencer appears ignorant of this.
So a buddy of mine also works in the downtown Phoenix area. He just texted me that where he works is shutting their doors early on Tuesday as there is violence expected. He had tickets to Trump’s rally as well, but he probably would not go now. Am I a horrible dad if I still take my son to this thing? Obviously I would still have my head on a swivel and steer clear of trouble. My wife did not show an ounce of trepidation when I told her we were going. Thoughts?

You are absolutely correct. It amazes me that educated people of reasonably good will, such as a 75 year old schoolteacher friend of mine, cannot (chooses not to) see the manipulation nor the all out violence and potential civil war headed our way. Trump doesn’t stand alone in the citizenry, but as CS Lewis said, many (possibly most) of our conservative politicians are men without chests, unlike our forefathers who pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor.
