Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore leads the crowded Republican primary field in the state's Senate race, according to a new poll.
Moore has 30 percent support in the JMC Analytics and Polling survey. He is followed by Sen. Luther Strange (R-Ala.), with 22 percent, and Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), who had 19 percent.
Another 17 percent are undecided.
The poll found that 53 percent of respondents view Moore favorably, compared with 34 percent who have an unfavorable opinion of him.
Just 35 percent have a favorable view of Strange and half of respondents see him unfavorably.
About one-third, 31 percent, have a favorable impression of Brooks, compared with 43 percent who have an unfavorable opinion of him..........................................................
If no candidate hits 50 percent on the Aug. 15 primary, the top two candidates will move on to a runoff on Sept. 26, before the general election in December.

You haven’t a clue what you are talking about.
My wage is Moore wins over 50% in the race next week and no run off is needed.
If not, he will win 60% in the run off.
You are clueless of the support Moore has in Alabama.
That's some good news. That comment by Chuck Norris needs to be turned into an advertisement, if it hasn't already happened.
“I do wish President Trump had not endorsed Strange. Moore is a man of the people.”
I agree. Whoever advised the President on this is dead wrong.
Roy Moore another “true and principled” conservative who will cost the republicans a senate seat. Good lord, folks, the man has been kicked off the Alabama Supreme Court twice. Strange or Brooks are both fine conservatives with no baggage.
Why didnt you put Voted for Paul Ryan for Speaker by Books name?

I didn’t put anything by anyone’s name. That is the way it was presented in the article
I copied and pasted from.
Last poll I saw, last week, had Luther at 33%, the Judge at 30% and Mo man at 17%. So, the Judge has stayed strong and Luther has dropped off big time.
Again, I think Trump knows this and he can’t lose by endorsing Strange, who’se still in there for a while.
“See, Luthor, I endorsed you. Too bad buddy.” And Moore comes in and votes Trump’s way anyway.
Highly unlikely. A Moore vs. Brooks runoff would be preferable to Moore vs. Strange.
It seems that presidents don’t always pick the right horse.
No surprise that the Hill is biased against Moore.
It must have been hard for them to write this article.
Can't beat someone with no one. Who are the Democrats running?
“Whoever advised the President on this is dead wrong.”
Curious if as Brooks is trailing terribly, and Moore has the political negative having fought the left/Democrats over the tenth commandment, and all President Trump was advised to support the one that could win without the negative of the removal from the bench?
Personally think the fight with the left/Democrats is a badge of honor, as well conviction of purpose, and I would love to see Moore win if for nothing else a major backhand across the face of the dastardly Democrats.
I suspect most bamans have made up their mind about Moore. So Mo Brooks jumping in recently splits the non-Moore vote with Strange and helps Moore.

I’m no longer excited about Trump. Hillary and Bill should have at least been charged. He’s got McMaster firing all pro Israeli staff at NSC and is pro Muslim and says there’s no such thing as an Obama hold over. I’m starting to feel like we’ve been had again.
You wonder if Trump is REALLY interested in draining the swamp, OR if he is becoming part of it. At least, I do. STUPID, demoralizing endorsement, but expected.

Americans need to get busy on these elections, Strange has to be 3rd to send a message. Patriots should be knocking on doors, manning phone banks, putting up signs and supporting conservatives.
If Strange ekes out the seat, another six years of a liberal “safe seat” to vote against us.
I think he's being told we could lose the seat if not Strange. Trump's not a politician, has to rely on those around him, unfortunately.
