I don't think we have a choice with regards to striking chubs. Trump laid out a red line even. As soon as he tweeted what he did, I just shook my head.
That said, Chubs deserves everything he’z about to get. Can't go around runnin your mouth and threatening folks with nukes. That's pretty much the definition of terrorism.

I love this President! Listening to the sickles whiners all afternoon has been like a triumphant symphony for hours. Bwahahahahahaaaaa!!!
Prez DJT to Kim U-fat, “Go ahead punk, make my day...”
CNN all day have been blabbing away that Trump is unhinged and he whats a war with North Korea. Said it’s the first time in American history that a US president has been that careless with words. When North Korea said they would target Guam CNN blamed it on Trump’s bluster. Of course for the past 3 or 4 hours they’ve had their “panel” weighing in to say Trump is a certified madman that should be kicked out of office before he gets us in a war. The usual Trump haters on on the panel, to include liberal US Army General
Mark Hertling, big time Trump hater.
Let it rain.
That is interesting history.
Carrying a big stick means you do have to judiciously but actually use it at some point.
MacArthur was right. But Capt Truman liked bossing around around a 5-Star general. Truman, with his ridiculous ceasefire instead of unconditional surrender, is what gave us Vietnam and every other other undeclared war we’ve been in for the last 60 years. Afganistan and Iraq should have been carpet-bombed years ago and to hell with collateral damage. We would now own both countries.
my 2cents:
It’s definitely a nuclear threat butI think the actual execution of the plan will involve ‘hardcore’ conventional......unless NK launches nukes in retaliation or first....if they are able to that is
but, it’s on, this isn’t going away....the top Obama NK envoy, Dennis Rodman, can’t solve this one......i said 30 days....1 week ago.....we’ll see
Do you remember the moment, during the Kuwait conflict, when you learned of the existence of stealth technology? That was 28 years ago. Even with the disastrous years of Obama, just imagine what weapons we have now which have not yet been seen in use. Fire and fury indeed.
Darn! I was banking on, ‘Shock and Awe!’ (ODS Vet, LOL!)
“Liberal heads exploding all across the fruited plains.”
Best. Election. Ever. EVER! :)
*TRUMP BUMP*
I have great confidence in the President of the United States and his ability to “deal” with this situation.
JFK cut a deal with the Soviets on Cuba in the end and perhaps a “deal” with China will help end this mess.
There was a lot of tough talk in 1962 but backchannel talks going on.
Bobby Kennedy was talking with the Soviet ambassador to the US secretly and an understanding was reached.
North Korea has a brutal record and a peaceful end to this would be miraculous, but its OK to believe in miracles and also its OK to understand history a bit.
Tough talk may be covering some tough negotiations in some secret place right now.
Please, PLEASE don't let this POTUS be sucked into the guaranteed-to-fail doctrine of "scaring" the enemy into submission. The only time that has worked that I'm aware of is when we nuked Japan in WWII. That's the level of "Shock and Awe" it takes to stop a determined enemy.
Winning a war requires killing and destroying, not scaring.
“...we should see to it that no NoKo town would be left standing. Total annihilation.”
I’d rather see us target The Royal Palace (or whatever they call it) and then return the rest of the country to the people - with help from South Korea. ;)
From sea to shining sea... :)
Trump will bring it.
Hope the little chunky guy (unlike his people, btw, who are short and darn skinny) realizes this...
I’m pretty sure President Trump, if need be, will be a much more effective War Time President than we’ve had in a long, long time.
P.S. It was just a joke. Shock and Awe v. Fire and Fury. It’s all in the Marketing. ;)
me too...i watch these vids of their missile launches..and it just doesnt look right. Never seen such free standing missiles launch like that..no guide platforms..no nothing. ..very odd looking.
when have they ever tested these missiles...not easy wedding a warhead to a missile then having it detonate properly...not a smart tactical move with at least 2 Trident “city killers” off your coast.
