The First Amendment applies to Congress, not the states, not "The People". I understand that.
It's Jim's site. If he wants to now declare certain sites "not welcomed at Free Republic" and forbid any and all content from those sites to be posted here (a fairly recent change in policy) he's free to do so.

Yes. Punctuation IN THE RIGHT PLACES does wonders for understanding what the writer is trying to communicate.

Democrats are increasingly conflicted about how forcefully to press the issue of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.Dems can muse about 'pressing the issue' because they own most of the New York Times and Washington Post reporters.

“An earlier Harvard-Harris Poll found nearly two-thirds of American voters say investigations into Trump and Russia are hurting the country.”
Liberals say “mission accomplished”, anything that hurts the U.S. makes liberals happy.

It’s a great letter. Comes right to the point. Needs some grammatical editing (some sentences run into each other). I really like it though. If I thought DiFi or President Kamala or Brad Sherman would ever read it, I’d send it.

Nixon resigned because the democrats controlled the house and the senate. He was toast. If the republicans were in charge he would have finished his term.

How is it on such salaries - 170k/year they become multi-millionaires? Just about every last one of them. And they work their butts off to keep these jobs.
Even more revealing is the recent Georgia district election. The Dem spend around $30 MILLION for a US House seat that has a salary of $174k/year.
The pols in DC clean up with the perks. Decades ago, they EACH got over $1 Million in various perks -- from drapes to aides. My SWAG is that number is probably closer to $10 million today.

The GOP gaining seats won’t help us if we do not remove the Amnesty Senators. They intend to pass amnesty if we don’t remove them.
Flake, Hatch, Heller and Corker must be removed in 2018

Maybe better than term limits:
Like the Swiss, make those who serve in Congress keep their day jobs, pay only their travel costs to D.C. And small remuneration for time spent away from their day jobs. Have them remain in their districts full time and do teleconferencing for a lot of their work, and have them get all together a total of a couple months of the year.

Actually, they LIE their butts off to keep their jobs.
To: GrandJediMasterYoda
Agreed. If they remove Trump from office, the Democrats will have removed a Democratically elected President. That will not go over well with the vast majority of Americans (even those that didn’t vote for Trump).

One of those places was Elliot County, in eastern Kentucky. That county voted Democratic in every presidential election from 1872 to 2012, then in 2016 it went for Trump.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. Democrats are increasingly conflicted about how forcefully to press the issue of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The RAT contingent has not even FOUND the crime yet - for God's sake let it go! But no they will carry on about this right up to 6 Nov 2018 in hopes of taking back both chambers of Congress upon which they will launch their impeachment and removal of Trump. They are counting on this strategy being successful since after all Hiltery won the popular vote with all those illegal votes, don't cha know!

Lovely map, but in addition to those six states outline in black, don't forget to include the 2nd congressional district of Maine.
Not too shabby for a man the press constantly reminds us has the lowest approval rating in history at this point in his administration, eh?

We dont elect them so they can play political power games. We elect them to do a job.Remove POWER from the equation and they will improve. TERM LIMITS would be a good start, along with ALL POLITICAL DONTIONS TO BE ANONYMOUS. You can't sell influence if you don't know who's buying. Eliminate wealth and power and you'll get public servants instead of wannabe masters.

I live in Phoenix - from this map you can see the cancer that California is exporting to adjacent states when their disillusioned population emigrates. Check out AZ, NV, and UT. Other liberals move as far away as TX

I agree with your sentiments, but I saw some typos in that letter, too, like a missing period. Better proofread it before you send it.

True...but I see that Lisa whatshername in Alaska got re-elected and the odios McCain beat JD Hayworth in a primary...I remember McCain fought that race harder than he fought for the Presidency.
BUT - if they HAD to leave after so many terms, like the POTUS does, then we’d have a different situation.

Right. Next year I believe that Flake will be primaried out and Hatch will retire. McCain will be gone. The amnesty movement will suffer severe setbacks.
To: Hojczyk
The fake news media is driving this and the Democrats are being dragged along.
People have become injured to the constant talk about Russia.
Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
Plenty of heat but no real light.
