The next day, Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina upped the ante, saying, any effort to go after Mueller could be the beginning of the end of the Trump presidency unless Mueller did something wrong.
He added that he will introduce legislation to block any attempts to fire the special counsel without judicial review and said he was certain all Democrats and many Republicans would support him.

So it is with Trump. Problems, some of them self-inflicted, that looked temporary and manageable have been compounded over time and are reaching a crisis point. Most important, he is losing flexibility to act just as Mueller expands his probe into Trumps business empire as well as his 2016 campaign.
Various reports say the special counsel, who is amassing a small army of prosecutors, is going through Trumps career, including his taxes and property sales, to find any connections with Russians that might indicate collusion in the election.

This is true, and I think Rosenstein was put there to put him in this trap. The only person that can really save him is Sessions, which is why Trump is so furious at him.
...BWAAAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahhh!
Then the new AG can go after Mueller if he stays on course with this "mission creep" abuse of the Special Prosecutor's role. Trump's hands get no blood on them, period.
Trapped. He got carte blanche backing from the Senate, especially Lindsey, for Sessions to operate unimpeded. Since he works for Trump and Trump is on notice not to interfere, no one can interfere.
This guy Graham is a self-important bore that regularly predicts that de Blasio will be put in an orange jumpsuit and frog marched out of city hall. He belongs on an overnight radio show way up on the AM dial.

OOPS I meant Goodwin Goodwin is the schmuck in this case.
Trappers attempting to take quarry more cunning, powerful, and vastly more intelligent than they are can be called Deep Staters, Swamp Critters, ad nauseam.
The scarcely concealed coup being attempted by the aforementioned suspects tells me they are doing a modern day “Hayman”.
When the time comes, Trump will find contractors with sufficient lumber and rope.
;-)
so let me get this straight...Trump sold property to a Russian in 2005, made a profit, but knew that would help him win an election in 2016 that nobody even knew he was running in, ...the ol 11 year strategy. Call this what it really is..a political prosecution to over turn the results of an election. Things could get very ugly in the good ol USA...
Well it feels like he is getting trapped to me. Look at the box the recusal put him in. All hell is going to break loose if he fires Mueller or if he fires Sessions. The Senate won’t seat a new AG. They will do the pro forma thing to keep out recess appointments. Mueller and his Rat hit squad are going to find SOMETHING because they have no limits thanks to that bastard Rosenstein. That rat operative McCabe is still running the FBI. So yeah it looks like he’s getting trapped. Trump was way too slow to go on full offense, now it may be to late. He could have fired Mueller the moment it came out he was Comey’s BFF but didn’t. So yeah it looks like he is getting trapped.
The media is just as bad as Hollywood. No original ideas anymore. They just keep repackaging old $hit, and try to pass it off as new $hit.
Goodwin is a staunch supporter of Trump.Just not as staunch as he is for Linda, Mueller and the establishment.
This story tells me that Goodwin may have been turned. This little thesis is curious over statement, for Goodwin.
This is not Trump’s worst week, in my estimation. It was Scaramucci’s and Priebus’ and the Senate Republicans worst week.
Agreed. The right kind of Special Counsel, who starts checking out the high level ‘Rats, including the Clintons, Comey and Meuller’s checkered pasts, would bring them around. Get a person by the b@ll$, and his heart and soul will follow you anywhere.
Goodwin is indeed a staunch supporter of Trump. However, he makes the same mistake as the rest of the media punditry. Trump is “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead,” and if you don’t like it that’s too damned bad. Unlike all politicians, he is fully capable of thumbing his nose at the world. Goodwin thinks his rugged individualism will eventually be detrimental and he’ll lose his supporters. I say Goodwin should get out of New York City more often.
Trump brought this on himself.
He refuses to go after the criminals like the Clintons or obama or any of the congressman who have “foundations” that accept bribe money from foreign govt’s.
