WASHINGTON President Trump said Wednesday morning, July 26th in a series of tweets that transgender people will not be allowed to serve in any capacity in the US military.

Thank you for posting that article.
He is right. These poor people need psychiatric help, not surgery and hormones. The problem is, we have been pitted against them and vilified by them for saying these commonsense things (backed up by fact, as outlined in the excellent linked article) which only makes us their enemies...and they are using the power of the federal government to COMPEL us and FORCE us to accept their abnormal and abberant behavior as a normal variant of human behavior.
They are framing this as a civil rights issue (it ISN’T) and using the cudgel of the court systems to accept this lunacy.
We have no choice but to fight back.
Like the unfortunate General Sedgwick at Spotsylvania...
“Why are you dodging like this? They couldn’t hit an elephant at this distance.”
Splat.
Those who claim to be “transgender” will in all likihood be given an honorable discharge and a year’s supply of lipstick.
Good! Accommodating these other like types is a huge distraction and detriment to military readiness, not to mention the cost of ongoing maintenance.
Transgenders are following the course the homosexuals have followed with great success to normalize their perversion and if you speak against them cramming their agenda down your throat, then YOU are the criminal. Homosexuals were given an inch and they took more than a ‘mile’. I’m glad Trump has drawn at least this line in the sand with the transgenders.
Mattis is said to be working on improving the “lethality” of our troops. As Rush says, the purpose of having a military is to kill people and break things - hopefully, it scares the enemy to the point where you don’t have to do it, but if push comes to shove, you do it well. Dealing with “issues” like transgenders has no place in a lethal military force.
Either lipstick or a bottle of Old Spice fragrance.
Since when has anything explicit in the Constitution prevented the Left and their judges from doing anything they damn well please?
They have been trying hard for decades to turn it into a civil rights issue (and succeeded)
A man or woman cannot help being a man or woman. A black or white person cannot help being a black or white person.
But when they took a sexual peccadillo and turned it into a civil rights issue, it opened a Pandora’s Box...as the June 30th deadline to grant full recognition of “transgenders” clearly displayed.
I would like to think nobody with common sense asked the appropriate questions, but...I think they fully did ask them, and dismissed them for ideological reasons.
xD
The absolutely deranged reaction from the left is proof positive that this is an incredibly fantastic decision.
That’s all well said and true for the Left and their lower courts allies, but the SCOTUS must adhere to the Constitution on this. It’s a ‘Separation of Powers’ thing.................
Nothing.
Homosexuals rebranded themselves as 'gay' decades ago, due to their deep seated shame. The term, 'homosexual', was just too accurate and truthful for them to live with, so they just relabled themselves.
"Presto change-o! No more shame! Now we can have Pride!"
It's similar to their adoption of the word, 'partner', to describe their significant others. They were ashamed to call their lovers, 'boyfriend'.
You are more trusting than I. Nothing about the federal government, including SCOTUS, can be trusted in my opinion.
Thank you. I knew I had read something about this. Military doesn’t need individuals who are struggling with a mental health condition.
“So it’s OK to lie and deceive the military”
I didn’t say that. I said the Military shouldn’t ask the question.
I have been saying this for years with the sensitivity training, first for women, then for homosexuals, and now for transgenders: If even one minute is spent on this nonsense, and it takes away even one minute of training on military matters, it is a dereliction of duty from the CIC on down.
When this collision happened between the USS Fitzgerald and the MV ACX Crystal, it drove it even further home, because this is the tip of the spear in putting women and uncloseted homosexuals directly into combat roles, what the US Navy has done.
If they spent even a minute of time on sensitivity training as opposed to training for watchstanding or Bridge Procedures, the people who mandated it should be held responsible for the deaths of those sailors.
However (and this is going to be true when we get chopped up in a real combat situation) the people responsible are going to be long gone, and those who support it will scream the loudest at it.
You can't get any plainer than that....................
I think Mattis is “on it”:
Mattis Orders Full Review Of Any Military Training That Has Nothing To Do With Warfighting
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3572161/posts
Mattis told the services to conduct a review of the requirements for mandatory force training that does not directly support core tasks, according to a Friday memo obtained by Military Times.
In other words, Mattis wants a full examination of all the hours of burdensome, irrelevant training service members have to undergo before deployment.
I want to verify that our military policies also support and enhance warfighting readiness and force lethality, Mattis said.
