Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!
Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

“Trump doesnt make the decision on whether to investigate the Clintons or not.”
The Attorney General Works For The President. If the Presidents is aware of a crime, he can have His Attorney General Investigate.
I find it hard to believe that Sessions did not discuss it with the WH Counsel, Don McGahn, prior to issuing the statement.
Baloney! There was talk of his recusal DURING his confirmation hearing
How was the President “aware” of a crime? Where and what is the evidence? Why hasn’t Trump disclosed it publicly?
“There has to be some factual basis to start an investigation.”
Tell that to Muller!
Yep. It appears that's how this is going to play out.
The President has been patient with Sessions, but he's now out of time. The enemy has gained a real foothold and must be stopped before gravity overtakes the situation. He's got to put an AG in place who will mount a real offense while there still time to win the battle.
It has nothing to do with whether he did anything wrong or not. As a member of the Trump campaign, he was under an FBI investigation since July 2016. How can he preside or have a say in an investigation that involves him?
Here's the bottom line. He works for the President at his pleasure. Somebody is going to get fired. Whether it is Sessions, Mueller, or that Deep State DAG. It's likely going to happen in the next few months.
Trump has the power to do this now or even months ago. The current situation with Sessions is untenable. He can't publicly attack his AG and not take action. He ought to have the guts to fire Sessions if he is unhappy with him. IMO Sessions would rather have Trump fire him rather than resign. Trump will then have to deal with the acting AG Rosenstein who appointed the Special Counsel. If Trump fires Mueller, then he must fire Rosenstein or have him resign. Talk about chaos in the DOJ and the country as a whole. Is it any wonder that Brennan is talking about a coup if Mueller is fired? I remember vividly the Saturday Night Massacre under Nixon. It was a constitutional crisis.
Source please.
I’ll find it. Take some time to locate; but I know I’ve read it several days ago.
The wording of the left. It's not a "constitutional crises" for Trump to exercise his official and constitutional powers to relieve a subordinate of his job.
And look above you at post #246.

Cong summer recess is coming to fill those holes if and or when Trump has to fire a a few people.
I'd bet dollars to donuts the President has said all of this (and more) to Sessions' in private.
I think Trump has just reached the point of complete exasperation with Jeff, and is signalling to everyone that he's about to fire him.
It sure looks like it. Firings or resignations are coming in August and to fill the vacancies with immediate appointments.
LOL. Actions have consequences. If Trump fires Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller, the issue won't be about his constitutional powers, but rather, a firestorm of protest and civil unrest. The MSM will fan the flames and the RINOs and NeverTrumpers will join in. You don't seem to comprehend the enormity of all this. Were you around for Watergate?
Cong summer recess is coming to fill those holes if and or when Trump has to fire a a few people.
Recess appointments to fill the AG and his Deputy? Are you smoking something? Get real.
That is not a primary source. What is needed is the actual testimony of Sessions and the questions asked and in what context.
“Jeff Sessions: I’d recuse myself in a Hillary Clinton investigation”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0LBZG02rOg
Hillary is all caught up in a pay for play scheme with Russia in the Uranium One sale she approved and got kickbacks in return to her so-called foundation. Billy Boy Clinton Toon got much money. A half a million $$ to just speak to the Russians. And Podesta got what $35 million from Russian businesses? It’s Russia Russia Russia with Hellary.
Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else, Trump told the New York Times in a shockingly candid interview Wednesday, even for the president.
But if Trump had been listening to anything Sessions said publicly about how he would handle a Russia investigation involving the president, Trump could have seen this coming.
Sessions didn't explicitly promise to recuse himself from any potential FBI Russia investigation in his January confirmation hearing to oversee the Justice Department. But he did promise to seek legal counsel to avoid the conflict of interest of serving on the Trump campaign and then in the Trump administration. And that's exactly what happened.
In early March, Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation on the advice of Justice Department ethics officials, saying, They said that since I had involvement with the campaign, I should not be involved in any campaign investigation. In late March, then-FBI Director James B. Comey confirmed to Congress that they were investigating potential Trump collusion.
You get real and I don't smoke any dope.
President Eisenhower once recess appointed two Supreme Court Justices.
Trump can surely recess appoint a mere AG, and then later submit his name later for the Senate.
Sessions is not all that he is cracked up to be and many others can do a credible AG. Trump should get someone far away from DC for his next AG.
"I am very disappointed with the attorney general. But we will see what happens. Time will tell.."
Be careful of what you wish for. If Sessions goes, we'll be stuck with Rudy Giuliani, a shameless advocate of amnesty for illegal immigrants and gun control. If you think Sessions is a "tool of the elites," wait until you get a load of Julie Anny.
