Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!

Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

I spent 36 years working for the federal government—8 years as a naval officer and 28 years as a foreign service officer. Jeff Sessions’integrity and honesty are beyond reproach. He is the finest elected official I have ever met or dealt with. He is a patriot who will do whatever is necessary to protect and defend this country and the Constitution. Simple as that.

You never answer or respond to the questions the poster you respond to raises or asks.

Give me an example.

Mueller should never have been appointed because there was no crime. It should be a perquisite before a special counsel is appointed.

Could a court, or any entity, get rid of the special counsel operation for that reason? And I believe the initial investigation was only for an intelligence investigation and not a criminal investigation.

If Trump fires Sessions, Rosenstein is in charge. McCabe heads the FBI and works directly for Rosenstein, the Deputy AG. Wray will be confirmed soon as the head of the FBI.

MR. SESSIONS, the President has a mandate for you to investigate the crimes of HILLARY CLINTON and LOCK HER UP!

We had this from Trump two weeks after he won.

Donald Trump said Friday he doesn't care about prosecuting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, after attendees at his rally chanted "lock her up."

I agree that the Clintons should be prosecuted, I'm just confused which President you are referring to, he seems to be a little inconsistent on this subject.

Sessions sensibilities are not to be elevated over to set aside laws he knows that are broken at the highest levels. He swore to do this job at the best of his ability where he is lacking, and he’s there at the President’s behest who is his boss.

No, I doubt that Mueller can be removed on that basis. The President or Rosenstein could fire him.

You are right that the main reason for the investigation was counterintelligence, i.e., Russian meddling in our election process. But Congress and the FBI were already doing that.

What we are witnessing is the cover-up of the Obama administration utilizing the Intel Community to spy on the Trump campaign and the transition team for political purposes. The Russians are the scapegoats. Brennan and Clapper are part of the cabal. They made sure that Flynn was removed as National Security Advisor.

Sessions is carrying out his responsibilities as AG under the law. No President can direct him to investigate a particular individual any more than he can direct the IRS to go after someone. We have no idea as to what investigations are underway in the FBI or DOJ except that the Trump campaign has been under investigation since July 2016.

At the time Trump said he welcomed an investigation which would prove him innocent

Trump should be quiet. If Sessions resigned now the Democrats would hang around and make a Recess Appoint impossible.

“No President can direct him to investigate a particular individual any more than he can direct the IRS to go after someone.”

Not True. The Attorney General works For The President. He can have him investigate crop circles if he wanted. This idea that the FBI/DOJ are separate arms of the Government is Leftist Media Propaganda. They work for the Executive branch.

Sessions is avoiding his duty for silly and dubious reasons. Because he spoke to the Russian Ambassador in his Senate office? He recused himself over that? Please.

And there shouldn't even be an investigation against Trump, but there is that Special Counsel looking for crimes that are not there. It's a big mistake that was set in motion by Jeff Sessions.

We have no idea as to what investigations are underway in the FBI or DOJ except that the Trump campaign has been under investigation since July 2016.

It could be Kabuki theater that Hillary is not being investigated...I doubt it. We all know it should happen, and Sessions knows better.

Not sure what Trump is doing here.

I am not sure what the President is up to either. Isn't he the one that reversed course and said that he would NOT pursue charges against Her Thighness. Now he his acting all gung hoe to get her.

Trust me, I am all for having her bought up on charges related to the Benghazi murders, the selling of uranium to Russia and the host of other charges. Also, feel that AG Sessions should be going full bore to weed out the corruption and bring the traitors to their knees or end of a rope.

“It would help if Trump didnt change his positions and opinions so frequently”.

Trump thought if he played Nice with Hillary the Democrats would reciprocate, but they only saw it as weakness and further attacked him.

RE:”Trump thought if he played Nice with Hillary the Democrats would reciprocate, but they only saw it as weakness and further attacked him.’

Not a sign of good judgment.

Next thing he might decide his very own appointees are traitors and tell the world......not pretty

Its really simple. Sessions accepted the appointment knowing full well if he informed the President of his impending “Recusal”, the President would have choose someone else. That is as Dishonorable as you get, its lowlife, devious behavior.

It doesn’t help that Trump has taken both sides of the problem, first it was lock her up, then it was leave her alone because she’s been through enough already. If I was Sessions I would be standing at the Oval Office first thing in the morning and address this with the Boss.
