Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!
Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

Obama suck-ups - whose judgment you obviously trust.
Mark, Jeff Sessions is not the best Attorney General we can get.
A circular firing squad in public is not wise. If president Trump is not happy with Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III as AG he should either resolve the matter internally or fire him.
That's how swamps are drained.
Sessions was confirmed 52-47 with only Mancin voting for him. He was reelected to the Senate without any Dem opponent. He was the first senator to endorse Trump and the only one for a long time. Loyalty begets loyalty.
Sessions' recusal is more than a little annoying but I still find it hard to believe that he's just sitting on his hands up there in his big AG office. Something's got to be going on that we don't know about yet.
I agree with your take on this situation, but I have one huge problem with the overall situation. Sessions recused himself because of conflict of interest, ethical considerations. This is what bugs me.
1. Sessions properly recused himself.
2. Rosenstein should never have appointed Mueller due to Mueller’s conflicts of interest, i.e., his longstanding professional and personal relationship with Comey, Comey being a controversial and central figure to the ongoing controversy.
3. Mueller should never have accepted the SC position due his huge conflicts of interest because of his longstanding relationship with Comey.
4. Mueller should not have filled his staff with Democrat contributors and activists, all of whom can be viewed as partisan and having conflicts of interest.
Sessions is the only individual in this entire string of events who followed conflict of interest guidelines A bold move would be, since no one else followed the guidelines, Sessions is justified in unrecusing himself.
And then we have Rosenstein’s incredible statement during a Fox interview that him will evaluate conflicts of interest once he has the results of the investigation.
This is one stinking situation and I have no problem with Sessions’ unrecusing, but he’d probably never do it. But this is a stacked deck and there should be some way to unstack it.
Problem with that list of accomplishments is that half of them are negative accomplishments, one outright horrific “accomplishment” is curiously omitted, and the big non-accomplishments is the real elephant in the room. So you’re not fooling anybody but perhaps yourself here.
In his first national interview, Rosenstein stood by his decision to appoint Mueller despite his close relationship with Comey.
He had an excellent reputation. Really bipartisan support for his integrity. That's why I made that decision, he said. The Department of Justice, we judge by results and so my view about that is, we'll see if they do the right thing.
With all the other considerations swirling around this issue, that response is just incredible to me.
Fox News Exclusive: Rosenstein says internal memos should stay confidential, after Comey leak
The AG is a long time U.S. Senator...senators in the modern day perform one and only one function, and that is to make themselves ridiculously wealthy by collecting money and favors from corporate donors. They’ve never actually performed actual work in their careers...they are simply not capable.
Find another AG...one that has never been a U.S. senator.
This line of attack on his own Attorney General, the loyal Sen. Jeff Sessions who conservatives used to praise, suggests to me President Trump is in trouble.

Not at all. It suggests that Jeff Sessions is in trouble.
What does firing Sessions accomplish? Will Rosenstein resign or be fired as well? He is the one who appointed the Special Counsel? If Trump fires Mueller, it looks like a cover-up. It is like fighting a tar baby. The more you struggle, the more enmeshed you become.
What needs to be done is to set some guide rails on the Mueller investigation. Rush was correct. This is a major Dem operations research effort for 2020 paid by the US taxpayer.

Again, how do you people know he HASN’T already attempted to “resolve the matter internally” and Sessions said “no”? In that case, complaining publicly about Sessions as a way to put pressure on him to resign IS better than firing him, in terms of political fallout.
Rosenstein endorses the targeting of the family of the president? It’s really unprecedented. (I could be wrong.)

Trump isn’t president of the local Elks Lodge.
Sessions ‘hoodwinked’? That like Roberts being ‘black-mailed’??
I have yet to find any evidence to treat ANY govt employee vis-a-vie Hanlon’s Razor.
Seems to me he’s the quintessential D.C. critter, more interested in his position/power than anything else. Pure and simple.
That’s an understatement; the whole lot deserves to be in federal prison and there’s enough evidence readily available to put them ALL away FOR LIFE!
So Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing? Really?
The mess Sessions has set off with his recusal is hamstringing this administration. The DOJ has become an enemy of this administration while ignoring the real criminal actions of Clinton, Obama and co-conspirators.
A real gentlemen wouldn’t have gone behind the President’s back by recusing as he did. Instead he should have had Trump’s back by informing Trump of his intentions first. Trump should have been his first priority. But Sessions is running his own game. Not loyal.
Finally someone making sense! Sessions is a joke.
At least Trump is getting the info about Hillary’s crimes etc out front
So if a controversy over Sessions firing occurs that will be out there
