Top 10 Oregon counties for gonorrhea
Updated July 15, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017
A gonorrhea epidemic has hit Oregon amid public health concerns that the disease is becoming immune to standard treatment.
Since 2012, cases have nearly tripled statewide, affecting just about every part of Oregon, including rural counties where infections have been traditionally low.
Officials in some counties have become so concerned that theyve launched public awareness campaigns, with ads on dating sites, Facebook and Google. In others, specialists have gone door-to-door, trying to track down infected people and their partners to get them treated.
We came to a point where we said we have to do something, said Tanya Phillips, health promotion manager for Jackson County.
Nobody play Monty Python’s medical love song.
We wouldn’t want any earwigs.

Gonorrhea Rate Has Shot Up In California (”especially among gay and bisexual men”)
coincidence?
If you would like more information about what's happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me.

Gonorrhea is the new leprosy. There were strains of it in central Alaska in the mid to late 80’s that made tetracycline run and hide. The women carried it, but didn’t catch it. Some of the cases were so severe the men were sent to an island off the Japanese coast to die. It was treated like leprosy. And they did die. It is moving I guess.

Thank you for posting that. I was going to click on the link but I hate those websites that make you click on a new page link for each number in a list.
Looking at the list (BTW Thank You for posting it
and saving us from clickbait!) I am struck by something:
Several of these counties, namely -
Klamath
Malheur
Umatilla
Multnomah
- actually *sound* like venereal diseases.
This is all on one page.
Everything within 40 miles of the west coast, needs to fall off into the ocean! And, take its residents with it!
I wasn’t aware of that. Do you have a link for that information?
No, it’s not a coincidence.
And it’s spread by one of the gaybois favorite pastimes -
There are dozens of articles.
Some are brave enough to point out the link between drug resistant bacteria and deviant behavior.
Migrant workers? Are the women are picking up cash on the side, hooking?
Portland is a running open gonococcal sore.
It was a joke. The idea of one of those successive-page sites for a story about gonorrhea is ridiculous. Good heavens, what images would they use?!
At this point I was expecting:
Some of the cases were so severe the men were sent off on an ice float to die.
What they seem not to understand is that to a significant proportion of those who practise sodomy, the risk of infection and the passing of infection on to others is all part of the “fun”.
