This is a major blow for the democrat party. My condolences.
He should resign and focus on his health and his treatment and unfortunately he will probably keep his seat and hamstring the senate for 1-2 years.

Everybody dies. Sad but true. Sorry to hear it is his time and want him out of the Senate but not this way.
The right thing for him or anyone to do is resign. He is now as good as he will ever be until he dies. Staying in office is self-centered to make the nation hang on him for anything.
He wont resign though. I dont see him as an ethical man.
He will get the very best of care. No expense will be spared and every heroic end of life treatment will be tried. He has much better insurance than almost all of us but he will still die from this. We will all always die from something.

McCain is no longer fit to serve in the Senate. His case is indeed tragic and I feel sorry for him, as I well know the pain and agony of what cancer causes in a family.
However, none of us has set his fate. That, as it is for all men & women, is set and controlled by our God, Lord Almighty. McCain, the man is full of venom, hate & envy!!! He now realizes, I hope, he answers to his Lord for his vile actions. He has served his country well, on occasion, in most difficult times, but he has declined into a vigorous bigot, a bit out of his mind.
The voters of Arizona deserve a Senator that is both sound of mind and body. John McCain is neither!!! Governor, replace him immediately with Ms. Kelly Ward...like today!!!

I doubt McCain resigns with Obamacare repeal on the table. I am afraid most likely he is the 3rd vote to keep it now.
I don’t like McCain or his NWO politics, but that is not something I would wish on him.
However, that does not stop me from hoping that he is replaced by someone VERY conservative.
I would not wish this medical situation on anyone HOWEVER McCain has been a disgrace to our party and I am GLAD this bastard is FINALLY going to be GONE!!! He has stabbed us in the back repeatedly and has made himself a media darling by doing so, I feel for your family but I feel NOTHING for you!!!!
I have brain cancer, two surgeries and I am glad to welcome him to the club. And I bet I’m tougher than that little man.
I suppose even though we don’t have term limits, life does.
I will not be disappointed that he is gone either and he HAS been a disgrace to the Republican party and has done great damage to it. He had way too much power and influence.

I don’t think McCain will do the right thing for Arizona and for the country—resign/retire. He will kid himself that he’s going to recover completely in a short period of time. Nonsense, baloney, ain’t gonna happen!!! He knows right now how sick he is, how the doctors are going to wage total war against the tumor with massive chemo and radiation. The post surgery treatment will make him even sicker than he already is, and this will go on for months and months and months—if he lives that long.
McCain has brain cancer? What’s next? Lindsey Graham gets AIDS?
