Polar bears hurt by climate change are more likely to turn to a new food source humans is the rather chilling headline WaPo went with in its article, published Thursday. The Post reported that with higher temperatures, the more likely polar bears are to interact with humans and possibly attack and eat them.
WaPo relied on a recently-published study in the Wildlife Society Bulletin that looked at recorded polar bear attacks going back to 1870. The authors found no trend in the number of attacks by decade through 2014, which youd think would count against the claim that bear attacks increase with less ice, but you thought wrong.

Polar Bears are in the Artic and penguins are in the Antarctic. I doubt any Polar Bear has even seen a penguin in the wild.
Polar Bears feed mainly on seals, but will kill and eat any red meat and humans are red meat. Dead whales, walrus, caribou and even Grizzly Bears are on their menu.
Curiously, Polar Bears normally eat little or no fish or berries like Grizzlies do.
Lol, did you make that? Good job!
Well, that one looks happy.

Orlando, Florida (oops, sorry that’s the Solar Bears, which is a minor league hockey team)
I am more worried about starving zombies in NYC and LA!
I miss my 3 antique models - a Polar Bear 340, Polaris TX340 and my John Deere....
You had a John Deere?
My Uncle had a Massey Ferguson. Wasn’t a bad snowmobile.
We had Arctic Cats.
I was riding a Polaris near West Yellowstone when I went around a sharp corner.
I woke up on my back in the corner. My Son thought I was dead.
Some young guys came and pulled the snowmobile back onto the trail. It was literally teetering on a cliff.
My Son thinks that maybe I should play cards instead of snowmobiling.
Boy, talk about fake news....
Idi Amin Dada said “[Human flesh is] too salty for me,” so we shouldn’t let polar bears eat it ‘cuz it might give them high blood pressure.
Damn. That’ll cut you in half.
