When Donald Trump said he would not pursue legal action against Hillary Clinton after he won the election, the majority of his supporters were not happy. After all, what Hillary, her family. and the Clinton Foundation actually did, or were accused of doing through credible evidence, was obviously criminal.
Fast forward to today and the onslaught of false Russian collusion accusations against President Trump and it is obvious why not going after Hillary was a huge mistake.
After the election, as there always seems to be, there is a kind of political vacuum period. It is usually called a honeymoon for a newly elected president. Unfortunately, this period of time is mostly controlled by the media.

I disagree with you and your MINORITY. Bush should have gone after the Klinton-krowd in 2001. There was plenty to investigate at the time. But turns out Bush was another phony-baloney. The thinking (proven wrong) seems to have been that the Klintoons would be decent and walk off the stage, and that they would not be in the limelight any longer.
Why Trump would have given them a second chance for the 14th time ...? - well, it is at his own risk, and I expect it might weigh on his conscience.
Thanks for reading my thoughts.
Trump really made a huge mistake not going after Hillary and I am afraid he will regret it.
Damn right it is pitiful, in fact it is much more than pitiful, it is outrageous and just plain wrong.
Every reason I have read on this for not bringing her to justice are nothing more than excuses for not upholding the law.
If our President doesn’t wake up to this and get rid of Jeff boy and fight these criminals, well I hate to say it but 2020 will probably see a democrat win.
Even if you run these scenario's out to the end, Trump will have done NOTHING illegal. Trump's son is not Trump! This is a colossal waste of time and money.
Sessions works for Trump.
“Trumps biggest mistake not going after Hillary”
Another horse-manure opinion.
You first secure your base before sending your troops out to attack enemy positions. The traitors in the GOPe haven’t approved even half of Trump’s nominees.

Go bet the ranch on that, and see what happens to you.

Unless I miss my guess, going after The President’s kids might be a “fatal error”.
DJT has not made a move because all the pieces are not in place, and foreign policy is on the front burner. He is absorbing everything the left can dish out, measuring what they have......and they have nothing. All of their cards are on the table.
. When he has the right judges in place, and his new FBI Director has removed all the bugs, and at a time of his choosing, it's going to be like the last five minutes of a Godfather movie: everyone is getting whacked.
It's the Donald way. He's knows why he was elected. Relax and enjoy the show.
It wouldn’t surprise me Sessions puts together a bullet proof case with every detail and doesn’t disclose it until they have it all...We didn’t know the case against the $1.3B scam on prescriptions was being made, either.
That's why the FBI and DoJ are "independent" of the White House. In principle, legal action is driven by evidence, not by politics. And don;t forget, the DoJ never had a chance to weigh in on crooked Hillary's violations, Comey sequestered them in the FBI.

Trump’s biggest mistake was naming Sessions AG and having his kids as “advisors.”
His other mistake was counting on the GOP to be tough and honorable. The GOP proved to be a spectacular failure.
The Ruling Class is taking Trump down bit by bit. The only question remaining is will Trump’s voters stand and fight or submit to the Neo-Marxist disaster that will surely follow Trump’s political demise.
Doubt it. Trump was surveilled by Mueller and Comey for years before he even ran, and they've got bupkis. If they had anything on him, it would have come out before election day.
‘Every reason I have read on this for not bringing her to justice are nothing more than excuses for not upholding the law.’
The DOJ is not the investigative dept. It is the prosecutorial dept. The FBI investigates, and then is supposed to turn the results over to the DOJ. [Comey violated that protocol, among others.]
Comey turned out to be dirty to the core. When this was established, Trump fired him. But McCabe is just as bad. So Trump nominated Christopher Wray. If and hopefully when Wray is confirmed, he can start draining the FBI branch of the Swamp, and also start on some genuine, non-politically-driven investigations.
You post at the premier conservative forum on the internet every day, and that's how you feel about the best Republican president to come down the pike in decades?
You're out of line, out to lunch, and ought to draw the zot for that.
I most fervently hope you are right.
