Yes, and what about the states with republican governors and state officials? Not all of those 41 states refusing to comply are headed up by democrats.

Pursuing the truth is repugnant to Democrats.

Which is more “repugnant.” President Trump’s request for voter data to fight election fraud or the obama administration gathering the nation’s medical records via unsecured obamacare exchanges?

They, the states and attorney generals, would get a lot more satisfaction by allowing Trump to get at the voter records and prove to himself and the country, that he did, in fact, lose the popular vote count. That would be a big embarrassment to Trump and to republicans. But no, there is a fear from those states that Trump could be proven right, and that they have been electing many thousands of people via the illegal voters and via the dead voters. I’d say that Trump is winning this one, even if he doesn’t get the voter registrations.

What are the “democrat” liberals trying to hide? They say there is no voter fraud going on. Why not just turn over their “voter” data and PROVE IT to us. That’ll shut us up.

Hmmm. When President Trump made the claim about illegal votes, they all screamed he had no proof. Now he wants to get to the bottom of it (before 2018) and they are obstructing.

I suspect Trump not only won the popular vote, but Hussein did NOT win legally in 2012.

rats always play it as though the Republicans are intimidating black voters, which is utter horsesh8t. I remember I lived in a mixed area of Kansas City, voting was in some bungalow that year. I went, voted not for the black Democrat and then they called me from the bungalow, said I had to come back that something had gone haywire with my vote. I went back, voted not for the black Democrat again. They called me again cursing me for being a bit8h. Alan Wheat, that was who the bungalow wanted to turn in a unanimous set of votes for, but I spoiled it. It was only a primary, Alan Wheat was going to win anyway. But the blond white girl wrecked their perfection and the powers that be weren’t happy.

These idiots don’t even know when they have been played.

OK, media and states, if you say there is no election fraud then there is no election fraud.

Permanent end to 2016 Russia or any other interference claims.

Federal election law is, of course, a federal matter.
The Federal Election Commission may have to assert its jurisdiction by issuing subpoena duces tecum to investigate voter fraud in presidential elections in all fifty states, but particularly in `sanctuary states’ over the last 25 years or so.
As we were reminded every day and in every way over the last 8 years, federal law preempts state law in this matter.
Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.
They don’t have to like it. Time’s a wastin’.

A picture is often worth a thousand words. I assume that’s Brian Frosh the Maryland A.G. reported as the complainant in the UK’s Daily Mail story.

The problem with the Trump requests is this. There is no centralized bureau of elections . Who and which agency is assigned to conducting elections varies widely from state to state. That includes what records are, and aren’t, kept and who keeps them. Often it’s just the county clerk.

in his refusal, calling the request illegal and 'repugnant'.

A request is in no way "illegal" in any sense of the word. Were Trump to send the marshals to arrest the state governor and seize the voting records, that would be illegal.

I am confident hitlery received 25 percent or less of the vote. Am also confident that had all the votes been legal that hitlery would have won at most two states. Yes, voter fraud is rampant

President Trump did not ask for information on how people voted.

He asked for those on the voter rolls.

IIRC, this is readily available public information and should be.

“Secret” voter rolls would make elections totally corrupt and fraudulent.

Isn’t voter registration data public information?
