As negotiations between Britain and the EU over Brexit get underway, a senior German politician has declared that a “European Army” is inevitable. Hans-Peter Bartels, the parliamentary commissioner for the Armed Forces, insisted: “In the end, there will be a European Army.”
Bartel alleged the age-old system of national armies accountable to national governments was “disorganised, technically fragmented and duplicate structures unnecessarily”.
He claimed Europe’s peoples “do not want to go down the solitary national path anymore. Not in Germany, not in the Netherlands, not in the Czech Republic and not in Italy.”

Hans-Peter is right and the EU Army will be German controlled and, the militaristic Germany will once again be a threat to the world. They already are in control of the army-less EU.

Then it's way past sunset for them and it will soon be total darkness. It seems the little folk vote to get out of the EU, and then their leaders who promise to do so sell out. In some countries (France, Germany) now they're voting to stay subjugated to the EU.
The "European Army" will be an army controlled by Germany and filled with Turkish and other maniacal "refugees". What could go wrong with united Germany having an army that seeks to dominate all of Europe?
I agree with you. Western Europe is through. Eastern Europe, Italy, the Iberian Peninsula might be able to stop the onslaught, but not unless they stop accepting any "help" from the EU or NATO.

and yet the UK has more of a powerful, better military than the EU, so who are meaningless now.
The EU are a waste of time which only the elites want to have more power, and if you want that then get rid of the European cup , five nations, and other sports.
Enjoy being invaded and seeing your women raped while at least the UK are waking up unlike the dumb Euros.
Germany and France are looking to get more power over other countries, and yet idiots support this crap.

As long as they arrange it along the lines of the previous pan-European army, it might work. They could have separate units, for example, from Dutch and speaking Belgium - the 27th Langemarck and the 28th Walloon. France could contribute a Charlemange Division, Hungary the Maria Theresia. The Balkans could contribute Muslim and Christian Divisions. (They could call the Muslim units Handschar or Kama).
The Germans, of course, should be in command.

The Brits are toast. No idustry and only banks that need a license for making business on the European continent.It is obvious that they will mutate into a agrarian state not so far from now.
And millitary? What can you do with a wonderful millitary when you can not use it offensive. The colonial time is over. Iraq i.e. was not very persuasive - in economical terms. Therefore the economy of the UK has to compete i.e. with the European economy. We are not very impressed and think this is going to have a quite funny outcome.

Who’s going to be in charge of it and decide who else, in this army, is going to not be a part from it? For there to be a need for an army, they have to need one and that includes someone to fight. Otherwise they sit at campfires and sing Kum ba yah. Cheap war, huh?

The only threads you seem to reply to on FR are anything dealing with Europe, where you trumpet the superiority of eurotrash society, your glorious 4th reich army to be, and anything you can think of in your own deluded opinion places the U.S. beneath europe.
Need I remind you that eurotrash falls into one of two categories:

Both sides not under Russian influence now share one thing in common......they exist because of our provisions to their defense and tolerance of their bullshit.
