The Times of Israel reports: A meeting between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and senior White House official Jared Kushner reportedly left the Palestinian leader fuming and refusing to agree to watered-down demands that Ramallah cut off payments for some convicted terrorists and their families. According to Palestinian sources quoted in Hebrew and Arabic media Friday, Abbas and his advisers accused the US of taking Israels side and refused a demand to stop paying salaries to several hundred prisoners serving time for the most serious crimes. Kushner, who is US President Donald Trumps son-in-law and chief Middle East adviser, met with Abbas in Ramallah on Wednesday, along with Trumps international negotiator Jason Greenblatt.

Once again, you ignore the facts to take Trump to task for not doing something in five months that hasn’t happened in 22 years.
Instead of responding by admitting that was a reasoned point, you twisted my point to accuse me of saying Trump is no better than Clinton, Bush, or Obama. I didn’t state or infer that.
The beauty of that, is that it reveals your evil mindset here, not mine.
Trump hasn’t said he has changed his mind. He still intends to move the embassy to Jerusalem as far as I know, and I might add, as far as you know.
I don’t know any Conservatives who love to trash Trump as much as you do, over little or nothing.
In fact, I don’t know one.
So here is what **I** think
I will give him a pass until December on this. Kushner will fail. December comes and it is time to look at it again.

Then it becomes a broken promise..like every other President..using “peace process” as a ridiculous excuse.
It’s a CONGRESSIONAL MANDATE. It has been for more than 20 years. In all that time...uh..where was the peace.
So give me the time frame. I asked for one ..at what point it is not just like every other President. Kushner will fail. There will be no peace. Just like there hasn’t been since there was a Congressional Mandate on this.
I hold him accountable on this promise. You can punt. I don’t.
We all know Kushner will fail.
I suspect that it will be 2020..and Trump will be just like Bush Clinton and Obama on this.
I’m not putting a time table on it, because frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.
In the overall scheme of things, this is about 227th on my list.
We have good relations with Israel. That’s the most important thing to me.
Would I like to see the embassy moved? Yes. Am I going to obsess over it not being moved. There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell.
If you wish to go through your days thinking Trump is no better than Clinton, Bush, or Obama, you have at it.
Good grief you are a dim bulb.
So you admit that Trump will not carry through with his promise. His son in law is an orthodox Jew. There is Act by Cogress on the books for this. Cruz and Schumer are trying to get Trump to do it.
And Trump will ignore it.
Yeah, that’s what I figured. But I will wait until December before I call it yet another reneged campaign promise - like DACA
LIAR
Produce a post from me where I stated Trump will never move the embassy.
I said I don't know. I said you don't know.
As for you waiting until December, you're already blaming him. Good grief, are you dense or what.
I guess I misread your post. I just skim them. I think they are ridiculous.
I thought you were saying there was not a chance in hell the embassy was going to move.
No, the only thing ridiculous associated with my post is related to the reader.
You have basically chosen to become the forum Chihuahua barking itself silly every time Trump’s name comes into the room.
Trump is undoubtedly the best friend Israel has had since Reagan.
You have become a traveling D.U. associate.
Priorities woman! Priorities!
In this case, the eminently UNqualified Kushner simply has the role of patsy. We know the Palestinians will refuse any and all agreements. Even if they agreed to one, they would break it within hours. This is their uncontested history. So it doesn’t matter if Trump sends Kushner, Shushner, or Pence’s new cat. Any warm body will serve as a placeholder to mumble the right words: “We tried to reason with the Palestinians and they refused.” In a way, it might be construed as a diss to Abbas to send such an unqualified kid with no diplomatic experience. Or, Abbas might see it as an opportunity to try and sell the gullible Kushner a bill of prime Palestinian goods, worthless as they always are. I just hope Kushner shows even the slightest bit of disdain if that happens.
Patsy is a good word.
the question for me is when will the US draw the line. Enough is enough.
We all know..all sides..that they are not going to agree to any meaningful peace.
The excuse for the 20 plus years of refusal to move the Embassy is a sham.
“You have basically chosen to become the forum Chihuahua barking itself silly every time Trumps name comes into the room.”
ridiculous....there are dozens of trump threads every day. I don’t post on most of them.
Cut the savages off now. Not one more nickel.
L
The idea that the pali savages want peace is what’s absurd.
L
But when you do...
I don’t follow you around, but I don’t see you not trashing him or giving him kudos.
It’s always a dig. Why is that?
Bush was president for eight years during that time. Trump has not been in for six months yet. You are just looking for a reason to bash Trump. You are getting close to the bottom of the barrel.
