Several stories have emerged with reported details of the testimony given by Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats in a closed-door session before House investigators.
And Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) is furious about it.
"About eight hours ago, Adam Schiff and I looked Dan Coats in the eyes and we assured him that there would be no selective leaking of his testimony to us. And I’ll be damned if eight hours later, there aren’t three different leaks with what he told us.
"So if anyone is questioning why Congressional investigations aren’t taken seriously, and are viewed as political exercises, you need to look no further than the fact that we looked one of our intelligence officials in the eyes and promised him there would be no selective leaking. And here I am being asked about it not even eight hours later."

but at the end of the day I don’t know of anything he’s really accomplished.
He successfully buried and covered up all the damning evidence demonstration conspiracy and treason at the Highest Levels of Government. He is still royally pissed off that Judicial Watch manages to uncover pieces every week that he thought he had hidden. Gowdy is a Snake.

Never trust a Democrat....never. All DEMOCRATS need to be thought of as being inline with child molesters and mussies.
Well, that's true, but don't blame Gowdy. He's in congress, who makes the laws. They don't "enforce" them.
Try directing your ire towards the DOJ, who should be investigating and prosecuting each one of these intelligence leaks.
Maybe Gowdy did it so Trump administration officials would have a good reason not to show up at all.

Ostensibly this testimony was classified.
And there are no constitutional restrictions ever claimed or awarded that prevents the US DOJ and FBI from monitoring or prosecuting Congress persons in the commission of a felony.
As we learned from James Comey, being the head of a department [or committee] is no defense against being the leaker if you are a Democrat.

I reject the characterization of the testimony, by the press, but the above articles cover the ground that Gowdy is pissed about.
Congress and the Intelligence Community are gaslighting the public by conducting secret hearings, then allowing the worst construction and speculation to propagate.
What Trump asked Coats and Rogers to do or facilitate is the same thing he asked Comey to do, that Comey refused to do. Tell the public what you told Congress in closed hearing.
Gowdy wants the smears agianst Trump to continue. If he wanted daylight, he's make an attempt to get daylight, and he'd let the public know he was up to that.
How on earth is wanting to get the truth out obstruction of justice? Oh I know, justice to the democrats is making trump look bad. So Trump was obstructing their ability to lie about him.

Coats use of the word “obsessed” sounds like a conclusion from someone who is not sympathetic at all to Trump. It sounds like someone who is trying to knife Trump in the back. It is uncalled for. Trump cannot be more obsessed over the allegations than the enemies he has that are using it against him. Think NBC, CNN, New York Times, etc. The investigating committee just as well should shut down. No credibility whatsoever after this.
And this “scandal” that Trump asked the Intelligence people to come clean about him not being investigated totally escapes me. He has every right to ask that. Actually, he has the right either to order it done, or do it himself.
Trey knows precisely who is leaking. His refusal to do anything about it is the real issue.
Arrest people Trey! Otherwise it’s all theater.
Schiff would likely be the prime suspect. He changes his views constantly. He is concerned about nothing but the coverup.
Who cares?
