Senate Bill to Force Citizens to Register Cash Not in a Bank, Violators Get 10 Years in Prison

A new bill seeks to track your money and assets incessantly, will enjoin any business with government ties to act as a de facto arm of DHS, and would steal all of your assets — including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies — should you fail to report funds when traveling with over $10,000.

Under the guise of combating money laundering, Senate Bill 1241, “Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017,” ramps up regulation of digital currency and other autocratic financial controls in an attempt to ensure none of your assets can escape one of the State’s most nefarious, despised powers: civil asset forfeiture.

All of this under the farcically broad umbrella of fighting terrorism.

Civil forfeiture grants the government robbery writ large: your cash, property, and assets can be stolen completely sansdue process, your guilt — frequently pertaining to drug ‘crimes’ — matters not.

A court verdict of not guilty doesn’t even guarantee the return of State-thefted property.

In fact, the government can seize virtually whatever it wants if it so much as suspects some of your assets might have been acquired through or used in the commission of even lesser crimes.

S.1241 - Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017

https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-bill/1241/text#toc-idea0e9489fc8f46379f95bb56c8bbbda5

SPONSOR: Sen. Grassley, Chuck [R-IA] (Introduced 05/25/2017)

Republicans need a good butt whipping if they pass that bill.

And they should be forced to take a remedial course in “The US Constitution For Numbskulls”.

We already have the federal government breathing down our necks far beyond what the Founders envisioned.

"Senate Bill to Force Citizens to Register Cash Not in a Bank, Violators Get 10 Years in Prison"

I wish this was an election year.

Patriots are reminded that the Founding States had expressly constitutionally prohibited the states from using anything but gold and silver as legal tender.

"Article I, Section 10, Clause 1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts [emphasis added]; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility."

So not only was FDR’s state sovereignty-ignoring gold confiscation executive order unconstitutional imo, corrupt Congress wrongly letting FDR get away with stealing state powers and using those stolen powers to oppress the states and their citizens, just like the present Congress let the lawless Obama Administration get away with doing, but consider the following.

Consider that Thomas Jefferson had written that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had decided not to give Congress the specific power to regulate INTRAstate banking.

Also, regardless what FDR’s state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices wanted everybody to think about the scope of Congress’s Commerce Clause powers (1.8.3), consider that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate INTRAstate commerce.

"State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress [emphases added]." -Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

The bottom line is that by proposing an unconstitutional law that forces citizens to register cash, the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress is once again attempting to unconstitutionally expand is powers in subtle ways.

Note that Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, Madison generally regarded as the father of the Constitution, had warned patriots to be on their guard against the feds doing so.

Finally, regarding putting violators of the unconstitutional bill to register cash in jail, please consider the following.

Regardless if President Trump predictably won’t sign such a bill into law, Trump will still need to work with USAG Sessions to decide the fate of people who are in prison for violating federal laws that the states have never expressly constitutional delegated to the corrupt feds the specific power to make.

Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!

Remember in November ’18 !

Since Trump entered the ’16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the ’18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.

Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.

In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.

Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February ‘18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.

While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably haven’t been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.

Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.

Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed above.

Look at the NAME of the SITE, SHEESH, normally there is NOT FAKE NEWS on FR We’re not sure how to categorize this site, just yet. The issues they write about are complex, but real. We just have this nagging feeling that there’s something else going on. Bias? Probably. We’ll keep this one open.

They simply want electronic only so they can take any of our money at any time they see fit.

They also want to make sure they get their "fair share" (i.e. taxes) any time money changes hands.

So you are hanging onto cash and you want to buy the old school collector car/boat/bike/airplane of your dreams and to make the deal work you plunk down the cash on said vehicle.

So if it is 10g's you are now a freaking criminal?

No, you aren't. No matter what this stupid click bait article says.

The war we are engaged in is the Established Republicans and Democrats versus We the People. It doesn’t matter to them which party is in the White House as long as “He is one of us”. That’s why they oppose Pres. Trump.

What about one’s safe in his/her house? I thought this was just if traveling? We bring about 10-12 K to Vegas once a year if our health permits us to get through the airports plus the 4 hour flight. Sadly, my wife’s health has been bad since 2008. We last went in 2013.

They simply want electronic only so they can take any of our money at any time they see fit.

They have to outlaw cash or they won't be able to inflict negative interest rates on our savings as we would simply remove said savings from their banks. And without negative interest rates (on our savings, not theirs) the magic money ponzi scheme (which is what their debt based currency is) will of mathematic necessity expand beyond their ability to control it. It's what exponential functions do.

we are not the bad guys...

Wrong! To the statists in the uniparty people like us who just want to be left alone to do what we want are worse than criminals. We subvert their entire philosophy of total control of what you do, what you drive (nothing - mass transit for the peasants is what they want), where we live (again no farm or suburban house for you - you should live in an apartment with only the alloted sq footage for non-government types), what kind of gun you have (HORRORS! utopia where only the police and military are armed) etc.

I know a cowboy that saved for years and bought some property, paid with cash it wasn’t even expensive property- really rural and near the border. He ended up with all sorts of problems, took him a while to get it sorted out. Had to show how he earned every cent. It was crazy.

Actual criminals and terrorists seem to still be able to move money around and buy mansions, cars- finance terrorist plots...but honest people are treated as criminals.

Nothing new under the sun. The Jews have their identity because of their persecution.

They sewed precious stones in their clothes as they had to flee....Jewelers and tailors

They gained valuable knowledge in their brains to resell.,.Doctors and lawyers

They loaned money that still had to be repaid across country lines...bankers

It will be curious what plays out in the near future...

One of the men leading the charge for the end of cash is a member of the World Economic Forum and an avowed socialist. He stated goal is to not just monitor economic transactions, but to “guide” them. He believes in total control of every transaction from buying a cup of coffee to buying property.

Yes, that is what they want. They seek total control of all wealth, the power to redistribute it as they alone know what is best for all. This police state started some time back. These Congress critters seek more and more power. After all us white folks owe. This BS they teach about white privilege fails to mention all the AA promotions and outright handouts for most minorities here since 1970 or earlier. Tell me about all the great minority generals? Powell was a failure in just about every assignment he had. Yet, he got assignments as good or better then West Point officers, who were much more qualified.
