Hillary Clinton compared herself to DC Comics superhero Wonder Woman Tuesday in a video message, which aired at the Women in Film Los Angeles Crystal + Lucy Awards in Beverly Hills. Clinton began by thanking Women in Film for its commitment to lifting up women directors, producers, writers, composers and executives. Then the former Democratic presidential nominee suggested that she and Wonder Woman were both on a quest to save the world.
Now I havent seen Wonder Woman yet, but Im going to, in part because its directed by the fabulous Patty Jenkins, Clinton said in the video. But something tells me that a movie about a strong, powerful woman fighting to save the world from a massive international disaster is right up my alley.
Clintons taped video remarks were meant to honor actress Elizabeth Banks, who ripped President Donald Trump and stumped for Clinton last year at the Democratic National Convention.
She is such a special person, again, on screen and off, Clinton said of her friend Banks. Youre not only a creative force in front of the camera and behind it, you are a passionate advocate for womens equality and opportunity; I can vouch for that.
The 42-year-old Pitch Perfect director and star produced a star-studded pro-Clinton Fight Song music video that premiered during the second day of the Democratic National Convention in July of last year. A week before Election Day, Banks appeared in another celebrity-filled video meant to persuade Americans to vote for Clinton.

Um, no, I don’t think so.
Insanity.
Hillary IS Wonder Woman, if you leave out the Wonder and the Woman part of it.
But something tells me that a movie about a strong, powerful woman fighting to save the world from a massive international disaster is right up my alley.
Unless the massive international disaster happens in Benghazi, that is. Actually, Hillary is correct. A MOVIE (fantasy) about the subject she names IS right up her alley, since in reality she is a complete incompetent. Keep living in fantasyland, Norma Desmond!
Let’s see Wonder Woman-bullet proof gauntlets, Hillary- Gauntlet of bullet proof vests (SS). Wonder Woman-invisible airplane, Hillary-invisible E-mail. Wonder Woman-lasso of truth, Hillary web of lies. Wonder Woman lives on a fantastic island, Hillary-lives in a fantasy land. I think I see where she’s going with this.
Wonder Woman:
THAT Woman:
She couldn’t force her husband to tell the truth even with a magic lasso.
Somehow, I have difficulty imagining Wonder Woman ...
1. wearing generously-sized pantsuits (with room for incontinence products),
2. as a lying psychopath,
3. unable to ascend a small case of stairs, or
4. having a history of scams and larceny and deceit.
**Well, Wonder Womens and Hillarys story are equally believable.**
Yes, both are far fetched, and loaded with make believe.
And if WW was dressed like Ironman for the entire film, ticket sales would have been a fraction I’m sure.
Upon hearing of the death of Adam West, I thought of how the tv batman was the most realistic by far:
Silly costumes, impossible physical feats, gadgets that are superior to anything ever seen before. The only way to present such stuff honestly is to make it a comedy.
Wonder Woman ? ... Wonder Warthog maybe ...
Plunder woman with thunder thighs.
Well, if you are going by mass, then yes.
I chose well in skipping lunch today, especially after seeing that!
Or the Hillary Hag.
