Republican Representative Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, and his aides were shot during baseball practice on Wednesday morning.
Rep. Scalise is a pro-Second Amendment and has an A rating from the NRA.
Liberal hacks immediately began attacking Scalise and the NRA.

More recently, a production of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” depicted a Trump-like figure who was assassinated. The president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., on Twitter highlighted another user’s tweet that said, “Events like today are EXACTLY why we took issue with NY elites glorifying the assassination of our President,” soon after shots were fired at Republican congressmen during a baseball practice.

It is one of the reasons conservatives are to be trusted, and liberals are to be shunned.
As a conservative, you understand that man is imperfect, and your thoughts and deeds may, on occasion be wrong-headed or imperfect. But you live in the domain of rationality, and the only way you can reside there is to take personal responsibility for your words and deeds, it is fundamental to conservatism, Personal Responsibility.
Liberals, on the other hand, feel no obligation to take personal responsibility for anything, since liberalism is based on the premise that there are an infinite number of things that can be used as excuses to disown your own words and deeds.
Those excuses can range from the trivial “It is someone else’s fault” to the ridiculous “People are going to do it anyway, why have laws against it”, and all those excuses cover everything ranging from tearing a label off a mattress to murder. Furthermore, those excuses are readily accepted by other liberals as the last word.
To conservatives, violence is a last resort.
But when we fight, we fight to WIN.
And God help the poor sods who provoked us.

Every time I read about a threat I call the secret service. Recently I called them about Kathy Griffin and that play in New york city. They said they already know about it but I feel if enough people call and express concern as a citizen for the safety of our POTUS they will make arrests which hasn’t happened yet, but no harm in trying.You can call the main number or your local field office.

I did once have a visit from them. Seems my son and his friend, who were 16 and doing golf course work mowing and trimming one summer, bought a snack at the golf course, using a counterfeit $20, unbeknown to them. We had quite the chat to convince the SS that the boys had no idea. I guess it worked, because my son later was accepted into USMC.

Most of the time someone thinks a civil war is starting up it fizzles out. You need to see the start of an earth-shaking backlash, something we’re not even close to over this.
