In response to the AMEX sponsorship of a play suggesting assassination of President Trump, a boycott should be initiated. I would be interested in talking with anyone who might have the web and marketing capabilities necessary to begin. I will watch this thread for ideas and contacts. Let the fun begin!

I logged on to AMX to express my outrage. Sorry, their Contact link was very well hidden. Their Chat link prompted a reply that it was currently unavailable.
So a few minutes later, I tried again. This time, a new window “random feedback” survey popped up. Great! I got to tell them an earful on their website experience feedback survey.
Perhaps many others did, as well.

There was no way they could hang in there. Most AMEX Platinum carriers (I am one) are conservative. I know I see and chat with them at Centurion Lounges all over the country.
I am willing to bet AMEX Black holders even more so.

I will stop using my company AMEX in the very near future. I talked with my bank today and have already set up another account. The card is on the way.

The bit about how we should shut up and read the play? I’ve read the play at least twice, seen it produced two or three times. And wow, I know history. But I’m also one of the 61 million people who voted for this democratically elected president. The libs need to sit down and shut up.

Ki called their 1-800 # and after being a Gold Card member for 37 years I was not happy. She read a statement that they support the art but not this Play. I told her that I knew she just worked there but if AMEX does make a bigger public statement, I will cut that card in half and Mail her the pieces.
Can’t have it both ways
Any AMEX holders call them at 800-327-2177 and light up their phone system and crash it.
I told her that many of my friends will call. Do not pay for a bottle of water with these knucklehead end artists. There is a line and it was crossed now make good.
