Security stepped up at Cambridge mosques after early morning bacon hate crime
Officers will carry out patrols at mosques in Mawson Road and Kirkwood Road
Police are increasing patrols at two mosques in Cambridge after strips of bacon were today (June 8) left on the car windscreens to insult fasting Muslims.
Four vehicles were targeted in the hate crime at about 12.30am at the Omar Faruque Mosque in Kirkwood Road, King’s Hedges as Muslims celebrate Ramadan.
Officers will also patrol around the mosque in Mawson Road, off Mill Road, following the incident.
Waste of perfectly good bacon. That should be a crime unto itself.

Wasting bacon is a hate crime. Now after cooking and eating bacon, how to get rid of the bacon grease though?

Leaving bacon strips on a Muslim’s car — hate crime.
Muslims hacking off heads — it’s just their culture, ya know.
I eat a LOT of bacon, which nowadays I only cook in the microwave. The process does require a lot of paper towels, but the bacon comes out nice and crispy and grease-free.
No grease at all to get rid of, other than to throw away the used paper towels.
It’s a travesty, Bacon and Hate do not belong in the same sentence.
Bacon is Goood.

They worry about seeing a piece of bacon after evening prayers, we worry about seeing a piece of someone’s body part after the bombs go off.
Not exactly a parallel situation.

That is wrong on so many levels.
Normally we have to ask “what state?”
Now I have to ask “what country?”
Impossible. “Bacon”, “hate”.....not possible to use those two words together.
