There used to be a tenet of American law that you could not sign something that extends beyond your own authority.

Obama signed this agreement knowing that he would not be in office as of 1-20-2017 AND he did not get approval from the Senate.

It is arguable that he can bind the incoming President in this manner, regardless of what the agreement says.

He did not have apparent authority because everyone knows he was out in 2017.

Ronald Reagan entered into an agreement with Congress in 1986. If he would agree to give illegals amnesty, Congress would build a wall to repel invaders and they would never allow another amnesty again.

We all know how that turned out. They got amnesty. We waited forever for what never came.

Now Pres. Trump says no agreement, but if globull warmists will give the US terms best for the US, a climate deal can be made. We all know this wasn’t about climate, the worse polluters were allowed to continue polluting. The rest of the world was just stealing our jobs and taxpayer money for themselves. They will never willingly enter an agreement that is good for the US.

So, now globullists will be the ones waiting forever for that agreement this time. And I say good.
