U.S. involvement in this Paris Accord is illegal because it is unconstitutional. It is unconstitutional because the Constitution doesnt authorize the feds to meddle in weather issues.

It’s a treaty. If the president presents it to the senate, and 2/3 approve it, the it becomes part of the supreme law of the land.

He will either send it to senate, and they will approve or he compromises.
Compromise: Politico notes that Ivanka Trump’s camp has been floating a middle ground of sorts: “staying in the deal while drastically scaling back the Obama administration’s non-binding carbon cleanup promises.”
I hope I am wrong.

Its NOT a treaty until the Senate approves it...
The Constitution provides in Article II, Section 2, Clause 2: He (the President) shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur.

The President has authority to withdraw unilaterally from any treaty. Trump can just withdraw without ever sending it to the Senate. Sending it to the Senate was Obozo’s job. Since it was never ratified, it is even easier for him to withdraw from the agreement.
To: JBW1949
There's the rub -- International law can recognize it as a valid treaty regardless of whether 2/3rds of a country's senate approves where the country adopts actions that show consent, which the U.S. has done. This is why Trump must completely withdraw!

There are certain things that a truly patriotic President cannot ignore. The Paris "Accord" is one of them,as is The Wall, amnesty and one or two other things.
Trump's attitude toward this matter should be "I'll shoot it down even if it means I'm a one term President".
To: JBW1949
Ok so it’s an unconstitutional agreement. Regardless of what you call it, Trump has the authority to unilaterally withdraw from it.
To: CWW
I see...It’s a “treaty” in the view of the other 194 countries...

If the DOW rallies, no judge will. The 400pt drop upon the appointment of Mueller put a bunch of RAT skin in the game.
I hope all the stolen gains from the ‘08 Crash were 100% invested in carbon credits.

The President has authority to withdraw unilaterally from any treaty.
The President also has the authority to exclude anyone he wants from entering the country, but since he’s a Republican....
