Comedian Kathy Griffin has apologized for a photo of herself holding what appears to be a bloody, decapitated fake head of President Trump, despite sweeping bi-partisan disapproval of the image.
The photo, taken by celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, was posted by Griffin and Shields Tuesday to their social media accounts.
"I caption this 'there was blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his ... wherever,'" Griffin tweeted, referring to an exchange between Donald Trump and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly during the primary season.
But in an attempt to appease those who were offended by the image, the controversial comedienne then tweeted, "OBVIOUSLY, I do not condone ANY violence by my fans or others to anyone, ever! I'm merely mocking the Mocker in Chief."

But the image caught the attention of the U.S. Secret Service. Although the federal law enforcement agency does not directly cite the image in any of its tweets, in response to Twitter users tweeting the image at its account, the Secret Service tweeted Tuesday afternoon, "On it! @SecretService has a robust protective intelligence division that monitors open source reporting & social media to evaluate threats."
And an hour later, the agency tweeted, "Threats made against @SecretService protectees receive the highest priority of all of our investigations. #ProtectionNeverRests."

That photo was also a cruel slap in the face to anyone who’s had a family member beheaded by crackpots. Disgusting for that alone.

Or and I do think this out of the box, was this all of a set-up for the left to appear they are moving to the center towards PDJT. She'd be taken care of $ wise, for falling on the sword, given they probably have 2018 internals that have them reaching for the kaopectate, ( yes I believe at this point they have 2 chances slim and none for any victories ). I take no tactic or strategy for granted from those on the other side of the isle...
If she does make appearances, conservatives should threaten large demonstrations and make them spend more on security.
Make sure they know they’ll be spending too much to have her appear.
Yeah Kathy, I think the left is always quite willing to forgive conservative commentators, even when they don’t threaten to kill someone in sick gruesome fashion.

Just as the ‘deplorable’ comment Hillary made during her campaign galvanized Trump supporters, every time leftists do something like this, it helps the President in similar ways.

To give a sincere apology, you drop your hate and anger and call him “President Trump.” NOT the “Mocker in Chief.”

I’m a lazy poster, but if someone had the time and interest, there should be a running list with links of the most outrageous hateful celebrity quotes and demonstrations.
